Steps for installing the sheet music stand
1. Loosen the knob, unfold the tripod
2. Insert extendable tube into the tripod. Tighten with the adjustment knob
3. Install the sheet music tray by connecting the rear slot to the stand. Adjust the viewing angle by turning the large knob
4. Readjust the height for easy reading if necessary
For use as a desktop stand
1. Disconnect the sheet music tray from the stand
2. Slide the desktop support into the slot on the rear of the tray
3. Adjust the tray’s viewing angle by turning the large knob on the desktop support
To disconnect the desktop stand, loosen the knobs and remove the stand by sliding it downwards

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this stand. I love the design cut out of the back. The weight is good, so that it is not flimsy, loose, or easily knocked over, like mine was when I was playing an instrument in the band 35 years ago... THIS is nice. It is very sturdy and the height is adjustable. There are arms to hold the sheet music in place or a book open. My daughter put it together easily and uses it almost every day for guitar music. I recommend!

Purchased for young student. It’s been nice and stable so far, and easily adjustable. Does not tend to tip, which is great. This stand came with an additional piece for table top use, however we have not used that part. Also comes with a bag for portability, however after assembly, I think this stand is best if left assembled. Nice to have the storage ability, but wouldn’t want to take it down after each use.The size of the music holding area is good, it holds a 3ring binder perfectly well. And has sheet holding arms for keeping pages from turning.

This was quite simple to assemble right out of the box. The stand is 2 parts. Simple set the tripod part on the floor and insert the top pole. The tray slides on top. It’s not only sturdy, the dark black design with the notes 🎵 on the tray looks very nice sitting in my living room unlike the spindly type, which would look out of place. I chose this one also because of the 2†lip which allows for my hard-cover songbooks. Even the music-holder arms are substantial, deep black enhancing the professional look. This comes with a table-top holder which I may use on my kitchen countertop for cookbooks during the holiday season. Simply slide the tray off the stand and slide it onto the tabletop holder, which is low profile and sturdy also. Great price and exceeds my expectations. Very happy with my purchase.

This was above my expectations. I thought these things would tip easy and be a pain to set up. This one is so stable and so easy to tear apart and put back up. Very pleased! It also looks cool in my instrument room with the music note design.

Perfect for my needs. Sturdy but light and easy to tote around. Base is large enough that it doesn't tip. I like the holes in the shape of eighth notes (cute! and easy to see which stand is mine), but if there's any back light, you might need a binder or something to cover them. Very happy with the stand.

My now-ancient compact folding music stand that I had always used at home was struggling to hold up to my 7 year-old's usage learning an instrument. While I wouldn't really want to pack this up to take it to gigs etc, it is perfect for home use, and is strong, sturdy and stable. It also has a smaller base than my old portable stand so is less likely to be tripped over or knocked. Overall very happy (and my 30 yr old folding stand can go back to being used when I need to take it somewhere!).
