All my road bikes have Presta valves so when my wife's recumbent came with Schader valves we needed a way to be able to use my bike pump. This adapter worked perfectly for that purpose.

My tubes on my Specialized Turbo Vado have full-length steel Schraeder valves, and are a little too large for me to easily use on the Shraeder heads of my pumps. So, I bought this, hoping I can use the Presta heads. Yes, I can. It fits wonderfully; you only need to make it hand-tight, and the inner valve adapter works fine, just like a Presta. I'm extremely happy. Oh, and they shipped it REALLY fast. It arrived six days early.

Arrived when advertised. Works as advertised. If you have a presta pump and a bike with schrader tubes, this is for you. NOTE: you may not be able to leave this installed on the tire. I had one (of two) cause a slow leak when left on the tire. Simple solution is to only install when you need to pump up the tire.

I was using a road bike with Presta valves on the tires. My wife's bike has the Schrader valves. My floor pump was for Presta valves only so it would not work to inflate my wife's tires. This little gadget fixes that problem. Now I don't have to buy and store a second pump! Just screw it on the schrader valve stem and connect your presta-style pump and problem solved.

This little adapter does exactly what I need done. The rear wheel on my TerraTrike uses a tube size that is hard to find with a Presta valve and my new pump is difficult to switch from Presta to Schrader. The adapter solves those problems and works great! I get to leave my Schrader pump home and that saves weight and space on the bike. You can get air in, but the Presta air gauges I have wouldn't read the pressure. Still, it's nice to have in the tool kit if you need to put air in.

I hesitated over the price, but it's well-machined and does what it's supposed to. Can't complain that the one small company that's machining these charges a small premium for a niche item, especially since they didn't cheap out on materials. Make sure this is the adaptor you want, though! My bike has the same stems/valves as, say, a car's tires, and half the bike pumps I encounter only work with Presta valves. So, this lives in my little bikeseat supply bag.

I have several tires to keep inflated on my fleet of bicycles and trailers at MOVE IT! by bike. Some schrader some prista. With this I can make everything prista avoiding the hassle of switching pump heads. You can keep these on the stem. I will buy more. Just one thing, it would be nice to sell this with a prista cap but that is a minor thing when so many are available from worn out tubes.
