These tie down straps are a nice heavy quality, both on the strap and the mechanical parts. The metal is all heavy thick stuff, so it doesn't bend or strain under load. The straps are well made and solid, not stretching and risking tearing. They feel like they'd not accidentally cut or nick easily either, which is extra good. I only wish they came in a hard storage container.

These do what they're supposed to, I like the ease of using the axle straps to load vehicles. One thing that should be addressed is the hooks should have been clip style. I have noticed a couple times if the load shifts or the straps aren't tight enough, the hooks sag in the strap cradles. My fear if losing a load for that reason so keep them tight. All in all ratchet straps with axle straps, I knew it before hand but wanted to try. Clips and these would rock.
