I live in an older home with a gas furnace that I never use. It's the south and our winters are just not that cold and gas it way too expensive these days. On the rare occasion that temps are really cold, we use a kerosene heater to just warm up the house. Nothing else in our home uses gas so eventually we'll replace the old a/c and furnace unit with something modern and, gasp, electric.About 2 months ago my old carbon monoxide detector gave up the ghost at 3:00 in the morning (nothing like being jarred out of bed when that alarm goes off thinking your house is going to explode only to discover it has passed its expiration date). So, after throwing the offending one outside in the garage and going back to bed I ordered a replacement the next day.I’m really happy with this one! It’s a great all-in-one device that not only detects carbon monoxide but also natural gas leaks while monitoring temperature and humidity, but I live in the south, so humidity is always "too much". The plug-in design makes it super easy to set up—just plug it into a wall outlet, and it’s ready to go.The display is clear and easy to read, showing real-time air quality levels without being overly complicated. It gives me peace of mind knowing that it’s actively monitoring for potential dangers in my home.The alarm is loud, but I think you want that feature. It's worth the investment. I'm going to order a couple of additional units, so I can have one above my furnace and one on each end of my home.Highly recommend!

This machine is alright for a low price detector, but you might get better peace of mind if you spend a little more money. I got it for my small office. I feel that it would probably alert me before I died of gas poisoning, but I'm not sure it would detect the smallest amounts of gases that could still be harmful. The temperature readout doesn't seem to be exactly accurate, and if they can't get that right, how accurate can the gas detection actually be? I think I'll upgrade for better peace of mind, and keep this one as a backup in case.

I think this is a must have or at least a very good product to have at home because it's really a safety product and it never hurts to have these products at home to warn you when emergencies appear. This detector is very easy to install, and it's really sensative and the detection range is wide, and I love how it is convenient to just plug it in in the wall and it has a display screen that shows all the percentage and temp. The alarm will go off if it detects something off. It's better to plug it somewhere close to bedrooms or places that you stay the most, 4 in 1, very useful and will keep the house more safe.

This detector was a perfect combination for me as I’m using propane gas for a heater in the garage and often run cars during testing and diagnosis in the garage, both of which can produce some pretty nasty gases. This carbon monoxide testing went extremely well after starting a car that runs a bit rich the detector went off within 15 to 20 seconds of the car starting, and is loud enough to be heard from many rooms away.Also happy with the temperature and humidity display as it’s often interesting to me to know how cold or hot my work area is. This unit is very compact and easy to take with you, but mine will be pretty much fixed to the wall permanently in my garage/workshop. If I have any longevity issues, I will update my review, but for now, considering price-point...it's a definitely recommend.
