We used this to trim down pet damage moving out of a rental. Landlord was ready to charge us costly carpet repairs. The device worked well. There’s a knob to modulate speed for different carpet types. It had a ton of attachments. I recommend it if you have some carpet to repair. Get yourself a nice carpet cleaner too or rent one.

The appearance gives you a homemade vibe when you unbox it. But it works as designed.Our carpet had a LOT of pulled strands sticking up because our cat uses the carpet as a scratching post. After a few minutes of trial and error, I got into a rhythm and shaved the rug down to an even level. It works best going in one direction. Your job is to find out what direction that is. Be careful when trimming. If you lean on it a bit more than required, it will get to a spot and dig into the carpet cutting more than you had wanted. It's not too noticeable, but it could if it happens enough. Just start slowly and you'll figure out the best way that works for you.I'd set the height so that the clipper is a tiny bit higher than the base plate; not even with it. This way, you adjust how much pressure you use to push down on it to catch the loose strands to cut.But overall, well worth the money as it does what it's designed to do.

Everything looks Great, live in norway so need to get adapter for US to EU.Took almost a month to get it, but that is how long it take to ship it here😊

I like the trimmers, but unfortunately I can't use the stand that comes with it. Very disappointing. I was looking forward to being able to use the stand for a level cut. Maybe it's defective. I can't get the trimmers past the grip, if I roll the grip down, it's too loose, even if I tighten the bolt all the way. I can't figure out how to contact the seller to get a replacement stand either. Trimmers work great, comes with a 2nd blade, guards, and oil. Stand is flat out unusable and difficult to even attempt to use.
