It’s very similar in shape to the one that my mother gave me, but this holds more liquid. That one was made of red clay, so I was so glad to see a similar style/shape in this cast iron material on Amazon. The beautiful artwork is a relief of birds in a cherry tree painted in a lovely silver and copper color against a black background. The one I own has no pattern on it, so I enjoy the artwork of this one very much. It’s a unique collectible and would make a very fine gift.I appreciate the thoughtful silicon grip on the handle to prevent burning your fingers. This is good if you serve your tea very hot like I do. Another difference between my older teapot and this new one is that this is enameled inside with a smooth finish, a very nice touch. The brewing basket inside is made of stainless steel. The tongs, which you use to secure the lid while pouring, is made of bamboo. A complementary cast iron trivet in a flower shape is provided to protect your furniture or counter. I recommend this product because even if you choose not to use it to make tea, you could set it on a shelf as a conversation piece or add it to your collection of teapots.

This teapot gives your kitchen an authentic countryside look and feel. The cast iron is heavy but easily managed. The manufacturers thought of everything. The pot has a strainer and wooden pinchers to lift the lid. Additionally, it comes with a cast iron stand for the tabletop. The artwork on the pot is well done. I took a close-up photo for your inspection. Once again, this pot has nothing to dislike, but beware and follow the instructions included. It is cast iron, so it will rust. Keep it dry both inside and out. Also, keep in mind its size. You'll get a couple of cups of tea from this pot, so not for a large tea party.

I have been using this tea pot for a few weeks now and I make a kettle every other day. The one thing that I do not like is if I fill it a lot, when it starts boiling if it is full it will bubble out of the spot and make a mess. So I have been just boiling water with it and pouring it into a french press for tea. It works great with the filter screen if you do not add so much water, but it is hard to add enough water to also cover tea leaves. The lilly flower stand is so cute it reminds me of spongebob. I also like the bamboo stick for lifting/holding the lid during a pour. Overall, I love the tea pot so as long as you do not over fill it it is great. The paint color is incredible and I hope it lasts a long time.

Got this because it’s cute but it is very tiny and i thought it was suppose to be bigger.

What a beautiful tea kettle.It is on the smaller side which makes it a good fit for about two cups of tea. It also comes with a cast iron piece you can rest it on.On the inside is a filter for loose tea.A great, gorgeous product and a value for the price.

I totally love this tea pot! it’s exactly what i was looking for. at first i was worried it was too small (the actual size is a little smaller than i expected) but it holds more water than it looks like. looks so beautiful on my stove too. you do need a hot pad or something to take off the lid if it’s still hot, but not a problem once you figure that out. Highly recommend.

This is such a beautiful and intricately designed teapot. There is a small area to place tea for it to steep. It also comes with a cast iron trivet. Beautiful and nice quality.

I honestly didn't realize how small it was going to be, or that it had a mesh filter inside, but mostly because I don't read descriptions properly and just hope for the best. This was the best! Heavy duty, great quality, enough for two cups of tea, looks really cute on the stovetop, beautiful pattern. We love it! Definitely recommend!
