this works great! soft and cute and sturdy. My cat has a skin condition and it never healed because of his claws scratching. This finally prevented that and now he is almost 99% healed!!

This cone was perfect for a small to medium size cat. It’s soft and flexible , so the cat is ok with it and seems comfortable.

This cone was super great for my 7 month old kitten. It wasn’t too big and it fit just enough for my kitten to still be able to eat and move around

My cat had eye surgery. I was looking for a more comfortable, flexible, and lightweight cone. This works perfectly.

I bought this because my kitty was overgrooming due to fleas and the stress of moving recently, licking sores on her back and bald spots and everything. She really didn't mind this cone at all, could eat/sleep/drink comfortably, and it was very easy to put on. She did however slip out of it twice, and repeated scratching stripped away the protective layer around the cone base pretty quickly (like taking a coin to a scratch-off ticket). It was also way too easy for her to bend and get around the cone so she could continue to lick her skin raw.All in all I think this is great for a very short term healing process after a procedure or something. I don't believe it won't hold up well to anything longer than a few weeks of recovery time or multiple uses. But kitty was very comfortable with it at least, so I'm sure she'd give it 5 stars 😅

So far this seems like a sturdy cone. It fits the cat well, prevents her from scratching at her head and holds up against her claws. The depth is decent, will upload some pics later. The material is pliable enough that it's more comfortable to sleep with, but though you can fold it back the velcro seal gets in the way as it's too thick. You have to undo it and then you can sort of work the folds down again so this feature is a bit awkward. My only big concern are a couple of things, one being the longevity of the velcro which grips well now but I feel could use snaps or something for a more secure hold. The other is the size of the drawstring to secure the cone to the neck, it's quite on the thin side so too tight could be choking a cat while too loose means some with the right head size could squeeze out. A thicker band would be more secure and because of how the ends are sewn into the cone itself you can't easily swap it out for something else.. One thought is to cut slits into the fabric so that you can slide a breakaway collar through, this would guarantee the most stable fit. Will see how this hold up over time but it does seem durable and water resistant which is great.
