I bought this mat to go under a fish tank instead of using it for cat litter. The lip around the edge gives a peace of mind that any accidental spills during cleaning will be caught. The mat is thick, but not so to the point where it is un flexible. It rolls out nicely. And have to say for a silicone mat. It’s probably one of the few that hasn’t come with a distinct smell upon opening. I can think of hundreds of different ways to use this aside from cat litter, including underneath pet bowls or in the laundry room on top of the washer or dryer to keep the soaps that might leak from getting all over I would say this is a wonderful value and I wish it had been easier to find because I would have bought this in the first place instead of the several other items I bought trying to fill this needI purchased this mat to place beneath a fish tank instead of using it for cat litter. Surprisingly, for a silicone mat, it’s one of the few that doesn’t have a distinct smell when opened. I can think of numerous other uses for this mat, including underneath pet bowls or in the laundry room, where it can be placed on top of the washer or dryer to prevent soaps from leaking and spreading. In my opinion, this is a fantastic value, and I wish it had been more readily available because I would have purchased it instead of the other several items I bought to address this need.

The size is perfect, large enough to catch stray litter without being bulky or hard to place.The waterproof silicone material is fantastic! It's super easy to clean. I just wipe it down or rinse it under running water, and it's good as new. The silicone also provides a nice, non-slip grip on my floor, so the mat stays in place no matter how much my cat scampers around. the raised edges do an excellent job of keeping litter and any other mess contained on the mat. No more sweeping up scattered litter all over the floor!. It makes cleanup so much easier and keeps the area around the litter box tidy and hygienic. would recommend this as simple and a effective design.

It feels quality , the large size fits my large litter box . it collects like 90% of the litter , so much less on my floors. Looks sharp too.

Ordered for use as a kennel liner. It’s easy to clean. It can be wiped or sprayed off. It doesn’t stick to the kennel. Some rubber mat bottoms will stick to the floor or surface. This hasn’t, which is another positive for an easy clean up. So far it has withstood my pets. It worked so well, I ordered a second one.

I bought this to use under a piece of machinery that creates a lot of water - so I can protect the bench it's sitting on. It's a little larger than the machine itself and catches the water that would otherwise have ruined the bench underneath it. Quite happy with the cost versus the value of this product.

This may fits in the small space I have reserved for my cats to do their business. It is a small hall closet.I put down a kitty litter carpet then I put down the silicone mat then I put down a grass mat.. this is to help with spillage and tracking. So far, this mat has done its job.Note: you may have to take your fingers and get the edges to stand up due to the packaging and being rolled up in the box. I just went along the edges and stood the sides up and problem solved., the sides stood right back up and formed the lip around the mat. Easy clean up as well.

My cat has dropped some over-the-deck chocolate monsters onto this mat and I appreciate it's fairly easy to clean. He's even thrown up on it and this mat did not care at all. 10/10

Il tappetino lettiera Garoopion è un ottimo alleato per chi desidera mantenere la casa pulita e in ordine. Con il suo formato grande di 85 x 85 cm, intrappola e raccoglie efficacemente la lettiera fuori dalla cassa del gatto, riducendo la dispersione in casa. Meine Rezension beruht alleinig auf meinen eigenen Erfahrungen und stellt meine ehrliche Beurteilung ohne jegliche Einflussnahme durch den Verkäufer oder Dritte dar.Als Katzenbesitzer kennt man das Problem: Trotz eines ausreichend großen Katzenklos bleibt die Umgebung selten sauber. Streu wird herausgetragen, verteilt sich auf dem Boden und sorgt für zusätzliche Arbeit. Mit der großen, flexiblen Katzenklo-Matte aus Silikon bietet sich hier eine praktische Lösung.Die Größe der Matte von 85 x 55 cm ist für meine Erfordernisse ideal – sie deckt den gefährdetsten Bereich um die Katzentoilette ab und fängt dabei auch Streu auf, die etwas weiter weg landet. Durch die flexible Struktur lässt sich die Matte leicht an enge Ecken oder unebene Böden anpassen, was sie auch für kleinere oder ungewöhnlich geschnittene Räume geeignet macht. Meine persönliche Verwendung für ein 70 x 55 cm großes Katzenklo ist auf dem beigefügten Foto ersichtlich.Das verwendete Silikon ist langlebig und strapazierfähig; die Haptik macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Die Oberfläche ist mit einer speziellen Struktur versehen, die zusätzlich dafür sorgt, herausgetragene Streu auf der Matte zu halten. Das Material ist flexibel und weich und damit auch für empfindliche Katzenpfötchen nicht unangenehm.Die Reinigung der Matte ist ein Kinderspiel. Dank des wasserabweisenden Silikons genügt es, sie unter fließendem Wasser abzuspülen. Für hartnäckigen Schmutz kann man erforderlichenfalls ein mildes Reinigungsmittel verwenden. Auch das Ausschütteln der gesammelten Streu funktioniert rückstandslos.Ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt ist die rutschfeste Unterseite, mit der das Produkt auch auf glatten Böden - wie beispielsweise Laminat, Parkett oder Stein - sicher an ihrem Platz gehalten wird.Mein Fazit: Die 'Garoopion Katzenstreu Matte' ist eine durchweg empfehlenswerte Anschaffung für Katzenbesitzer, um Verschmutzungen rund ums Klo bestmöglich einzudämmen. Für die praktische Größe, die einwandfreie Funktionalität sowie die unproblematische Reinigungsmöglichkeit bewerte ich das Produkt gerne mit 5 Sternen.

I used to use a textured litter mat that was supposed to trap the litter between the layers, but got rid of it because (1) one of my cats started going outside the box/got the idea that the mats were preferable, and (2) it was actually more of a nuisance than a help having litter to clean out between layers of litter mat! I actually prefer that this doesn't have layers, but because it's silicone it's still kind of "grippy".I did originally order this intending to use it as a litter mat, but after having seen it (it's quite large!) I'm actually debating either using this as a generously sized boot tray, or a large floor mat for their food area. My cats are weird and naughty! They won't just eat their food over their bowl, they like to pick up a piece at a time, step back, and eat it off of the floor....so they're always making a mess of the floor! I'm leaning towards generous boot tray though.I do think however, that even though litter mats seemed to encourage my cat to start going outside the box, this one wouldn't do that as it just..looks and feels like the floor? It's not noticeably soft or cushy like the previous litter mat or even pee pads that I'd resorted to using, so I could use it there too. Honestly though, I don't get much litter tracking because I use pine pellets, so I think I'd probably get better use out of this elsewhere...maybe i'll end up buying another one....

This mat is fantastic! While it is advertised as a litter mat, and don't get me wrong I think it would work great for that, I am choosing to use it in my seed starting area to help minimize mess.My seed starting area is up in our home office and I was always struggling to contain the soil and water. I also didn't have a waterproof surface to do any of my projects on, so I was constantly worried about wrecking the table top with water, especially over spray when I'm taking the seedling trays out to mist them.This mat keeps everything so much more tidy and I don't have to worry about water damage. The “litter trapping†feature works great to trap soil and the slightly raised edges keep soil and water from running off the work surface and making a mess on the floor or table top. When I am done with my planting project I just wipe up any excess water, roll up the mat and take it outside to shake the dirt remnants off. If needed I can then wipe it down with a damp cloth. It rolls up nicely and can easily tuck away when I'm not using it. It maintains its shape well (ie. I have no issues with creases or with it not lying flat when I unroll it to use it).

Dies ist schon die zweite Silikon Katzenstreumatte die ich über das vine Programm zur Verfügung gestellt bekomme. Für mich als Futterspender für zwei sehr alte Katzendamen, wo auch mal etwas neben das Katzenklo statt ins Klo geht, sehr wichtig und auch interessant. Deswegen das Fazit hier mal direkt vorweg.Fazit - die Falten sind zwar nicht schön, aber stören die Funktion nicht. Der Geruch ist auch schnell verflogen und der Preis ist im Vergleich zu meiner anderen, genau gleichen Matte fast 2/3 günstiger! Daher bekommt diese Matte von mir volle 5 Sterne!Material - weich und flexibel, aber direkt nach dem Auspacken sehr geruchsintensiv! Diese Matte brauchte ca 3 Tage, bis der Plastik Geruch verflogen war. Vergleichsweise wenig!Verarbeitung - ok, wird gefaltet geliefert. Die Falten sind erfahrungsgemäß hartnäckig, aber da ein Klo draufsteht, ist es mir egal.Größe/Form - wie angegebenFunktion - die Matte liegt als extra Schutz unter einem meiner Katzenklos, darüber liegen noch Welpen Trainingspads, damit wenn etwas daneben geht, es erstmal aufgesaugt wird. Und dann für den Notfall noch die Matte darunter, funktioniert super, daher jetz auch die zweite Matte dieser Art.Preis - regulär 12,99, aktuell 10,99. Das ist beides im Vergleich extrem günstig!Erhalten habe ich die Matte über das vine Programm - diese Produkte sind nicht gratis, sondern Sacheinnahmen im Sinne des EStG, auf die man Steuern zahlen muss. Meine Bewertungen sind nicht gekauft und wenn nötig auch negativ. Schaut gern in meine anderen Rezensionen, um euch davon zu überzeugen.
