Good tall scratching post. I like that it's a nice large diameter, so the cat can get a good hold on it. Very easy assembly. seems nice and sturdy, hopefully this will last a long time. And the cat likes it, which is the most important thing.

My cats absolutely love this because they can reach up and stretch out while using. Great item to have to protect your furniture and weighs enough so it doesn't move around while scratching. Very sturdy and easy to put together. I would recommend this for all cat owners/lovers because this one is the perfect size for adult cats. Even kittens too. I have two smaller ones and this one rocks so I will get another one and get rid of the smaller ones.

The scratching post will last a long time I purchased this post in August and it is now 5 months later. Our cat would go through a post a month when bought at Walmart or Petco. She is a very aggressive scratcher and it hasn’t even frayed! I like that it is tall too, that way she can stretch her full length and still be able to scratch as if she was scratching on a tree outside. The 2 hanging toys are long gone but the post is main perfect. Like another person who bought it said, it isn’t as sturdy as it may look. She jumped off the top and it fell over so we have to wedge it under some furniture so it doesn’t fall over but other than that it’s a perfect fit for her. It saves us money and protects the couch from being destroyed. I’m glad I bought it.

I am very pleased with this cat scratching pole that I bought for my nine year old orange tabby. It was simple to put together, and it is super sturdy. My cat took too it immediately and he seems to love it. I highly recommend this product and consider it to be great value for the money.

It’s a pretty good scratching post. I wouldn’t say it’s suuuper heavy duty, she jumped off the top once and it fell over and she’s a small-average sized cat. So maybe not the best option if you have big cats. I wish the base was heavier and more sturdy, but of course for the price you get cheap plywood. Overall it’s pretty good though, the sisal rope is real and good quality and she loves sitting on the perch. I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a scratching post just for my cat to tear it up so I think the price is pretty fair. And it was easy to put together.

Bought this scratching post 11 months ago. It is used a dozen times/day by our cats, but shows absolutely no wear and tear. There is no messiness or rope shedding. The height is great. They love to reach up high, but it is very sturdy and has never tipped over. Buying a new one for upstairs today. It is FAR superior to any other scratching post that we have bought.

This item it sturdy and tall enough that cars can stand on their back kegs and stretch up tall to scratch the post. It is easy to knock over, though, so place it in an area that if it tips it’ll just be slanted and not all the way down on the floor. We have ours in this little angle area between a chair and our tv cabinet. If it tips it’ll usually is only very slightly slanted. We will try to figure a way to attach weights to the bottom platform but really this thing is great for our cats. It was the best price for how tall it was. I would buy it again.

This cat scratcher is very good, extremely easy to put together.My kitty boys like it & I think it's very sturdy. I bought one as a spare.The grey goes well with my rugs too & the toys & perch are a nice touch too.I'll get these again went I need new ones. I have tried thinner ones that aren't as strong & this one is way better but wider which I think is good.
