My cat likes this unit and unlike to many cat toys keeps his attention for a few minutes at a time. He likes to play. with it when he lies down on his favorite blanket even though it may only be for a few moments. Amazed at how long it retains its charge since so many rechargeable pet toys only work for just a few minutes before needing a charge.Most cat toys will only keep a cat's attention for a few minutes and then that's it, they are no longer interested in them.This toy keeps him entertained even though for a few moments at a time because of the "flapping" and beeping noise.

I charged it and bird Motion detector didn’t work when My cats would go up to it. I had to go over and tap it to get it to flap, but when they were touching it or going up to it, it would do nothing.

I got the Parrot bird, my kitten was a little afraid at first but later was attacking it like the cats in the commercial. My older cats were scared & ran except 1. He batted at it but walked away. I don’t have anything to hang it from, there is a loop on the back neck of the bird to attach a long bungee-type string which might make a difference, it might simulate the bird flying or whatever when flapping its wings.It all depends on your cat. I always have an issue with these bird feathers on cat toys. I’m always a little worried they’ll pull it off & it get stuck in their throat. They do tend to pull them off the toys.

We have had Cats for 51 years. Purchased tons of Cat toys, they played with them for 5 minutes & no longer. Our Cat goes to this little bird several times a day & loves it & keeps her busy & she gets some excercise. It is well worth the money & can be recharged. Great product.
