This universal thermostatic ceiling fan remote control kit adds ultimate functionality to your ceiling fan.
The thermostatic feature enables the user to set a desired room temperature, and above / below this temperature 1 ℃ or 1 ℉ the fan will automatically turn on / off.
Suitable for the Ceiling Fans with Reverse Switch
This remote control kit is suitable for most AC 3-Speed fans, including ceiling fans with reverse function.
Warm weather - (Forward) A downward airflow creates a cooling effect. This allows you to set your air onditioner on a warmer setting without affecting your comfort.
Cool weather - (Reverse) An upward airflow moves warm air off of the ceiling. This allows you to set your heating unit on a cooler setting without affecting your comfort.
Easy to Set Up the Remote Control
There are 3 ways to pair your new ceiling fan remote.
- Match DIP settings from your old remote to your new remote.
- If you don't have your old remote, try the 16 possible DIP combinations.
- Find the DIP settings on the receiver insider your ceiling fan and match them on your new remote.
NOTE
1. If you have PULL CHAINS SWITCH, before using the wireless remote control, use the PULL CHAINS SWITCH to turn the wind speed to maximum and turn the fan light on. Only in this way can the PULL CHAINS SWITCH and wireless remote control be used together.
2. If you have multiple ceiling fans in your home, please make sure that the PIN code settings are different between them, otherwise it is likely that the transmitter next door activates the ceiling fan in your bedroom. This will cause the ceiling fan to turn on strangely while you sleep.

I purchased this to replace one in my fan that was shorting out. When this one was put in, it did not work at all. Once the fan was hard wired back in, it ran normally. Not recommended.

This was an easy replacement for an old remote element in the fan housing that stoped working. Great to have a new remote as well. Ceiling fan is back to working like normal thanks to this replacement part! And I liked the very reasonable price!

Purchase this remote kit in hopes to have all our fans with the same remote. It seemed to work for a week. Then our light started flashing when we would turn it on and the fan sopped working. We checked all our connections, put the old unit back on and it works fine! There's an obvious problem with the unit that we received!
