Set different PIN code if control multiple ceiling fans
NOTE: If you control multiple ceiling fans in the house, please check the PIN code settings are different between these, or it may let transmitter next door or your neibourhood's remote activates this ceiling fan in your other rooms. This may cause the fan turning on strangely while you are not at home.
HOW TO USE
- This is the remote control for the ceiling fan. They should match the switches on the transmitter inside the ceiling fan.
- Just remember to set the 4 dip switches inside the battery compartment(they are kinda hidden behind the slot for the battery itself).
- Look inside the old remote with the battery cover off, there is a series of "DIP" switches(4) .
- Slide the switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the old remote. Replace the battery in the new remote and things should work.
- There are 16 different frequencies for the Harbor Breeze fans, so you would have to play with the combinations.
- Here are the frequency list:(0 is down and 1 is up) 0000, 0001, 0010, 0100, 0110, 0101, 0011, 0111, 1111, 1110, 1101, 1011, 1001, 1010, 1100, 1000

I've done a ton of Ceiling fan installs over the years, and this remote control was pretty standard install.The only issue i've had over the years is fitting the controller in the fan cover at the ceiling. Takes a little squeezing but does goes in. Overall works fine.

This remote worked perfectly on an older fan that had no pulls, remote only, but the remote was lost. I simply re-toggled the new remote to mimic the unit inside the housing and it worked perfectly. As always, the most difficult part is getting the wires back in, but that is always a little struggle. I would definitely buy this remote again. This remote does not come with a 9v battery.

Bought it in July had to pay someone install light and remote. It worked for 2 weeks and then would not work at all. Paid someone to come check it out, after many attempts it worked with the light but fan would not work with remote or pull chain. Took it out of the ceiling fan and light and fan both work with pull chains. Not what I bought it for. And can’t return it because I don’t even have a month timeframe. Very dissatisfied and sad.
