I recently purchased a small Celestron NexStar 4SE telescope and was looking for a way to attach my Nikon dslr tot he scope from the back. This fit the bill perfectly. Unfortunately, my camera is far to heavy for such a small telescope. Happily, I plain on getting the NexStar 8SE around February or March so this will certainly not go to waste. All metal construction and appears to be built very well.

This is a must-have for astrophotography with a DSLR. Adapter fits right into the telescope eyepiece mount (sans eyepiece).No issues on attachment - to either telescope or camera. Shipping package was adequate with no required bells-and-whistles (e.g. item in a box).This was an inexpensive, but necessary piece of equipment I didn't realize I needed. Glad that Celestron thinks beyond just telescopes and eyepieces - I sure as heck didn't!

Awesome product!!! Works perfectly with my Celestron Nexstar 4se and my Cannon t2i, with the cannon adapter. Now I can take great pics. Wife and kids love the pics I'm able to get!!

Had this piece for about a month now. I got this to hook a Canon T5i to a Nexstar 4SE. With an adapter, it works as intended. Absolutely no play in the threads and there's a slight bit of adjustment to it. Quality aluminum and couldn't ask for more! Remember this threads on to the telescopes backend, and not an eyepiece adapter.

This T-adapter allows your film or digital SLR to attach to your telescope and take photographs. It is well constructed and easy to use. You will also need an adapter that fits on you camera, the two then link together. This adapter does not allow autofocus, but it didn't claim to do so. You focus via the focus device on your telescope.

Bought this to connect my Panasonic Lumix G7 to my Celestron 4SE telescope, along with the T-mount lens adapter. The threads are nice and tight, so it isn't loose. Very sturdy when having a large camera mounted to the back of it.

I have always wanted to do astrophotography. Of course as a guy, I wouldn’t read anything initially. I would just construct and hope for the best. I broke down and looked at some reviews no YouTube video and realized I was missing a piece. This was spoken about and I purchased and was amazed at how easy it was to connect. Make note: Maybe read some articles first or watch a couple of videos. They may very well save you time. Time wasted is time lost.

Using this Celestron t-adapter with my Bresser 100m Maksutov and Nikon DLSR. Prime focus can be achieved with any issues.
