This works great at close distances. I was having trouble at an installation distance of around 3m which is well within the specifications and after some testing laying it flat on the floor I measured it’s maximum operational distance is less than 2.5m. This is less than 50% of the advertised distance and this was in a low light environment to minimize interference.
