This is the first time I ever tried a device like this. Initially I didn’t get the feel of it and almost was going to give it a fail. Decided to keep trying and am glad I did. Tip, the better you get, the faster and longer it spins. A positive feed back. Turns out this has been around a long time and there are multiple versions.LIKES: Well made. Feels like it will last a long time. Nice wrist strap and protective case. I’m beginning to get a feel of a work out with it.DISLIKES: Instructions in English were not written by a native English speaker. Very choppy, and difficult to understand. I ended up watching several You Tube videos and that helped. It seemed each You Tube Video had a different technique. So still learning.As there are several different models with features like digital read outs, different methods of starting, etc. I can not comment of the features this one doesn’t have. If you are experienced user, I believe your wealth of knowledge will be a guide.I recently have been trying out various hand exercise devices. I was hoping this would be one I could use while driving. Only tried that once and didn’t feel safe, so I don’t plan on “Gyro-ing and Drivingâ€.RECOMMENDATION: YES: If you are a gyro ball novice and want to try something new, go for this. If you are an experienced ‘gyro ball’ user…I am unable to advise, re features it doesn’t have. Excuse me, I’m going back to it now.

I already have a "Manual start" one of these, and you really have to know how to get it started, but with the auto-start feature it is great for a beginner, works as described

When it arrived it seemed to be a solid design and felt good. I did see very positive results at first and it did deliver on the exercise experience it promised, however despite following all instructions to the letter including a how to guide they sent via private message, it broke within 12 uses (I used once a day every day or two for 1 minute per arm) I am only giving 2 stars because while it worked it was effective and the lights to help see RPMs was very nice. Overall i am disappointed in spending money on a product that only lasted a couple of weeks. Perhaps I got a bad unit but as of now I would not recommend.

This is what I needed the Gyro ball to get my wrist some exercise needed after getting injured. The gyro ball does an excellent job of getting up to speed and giving me the desired exercise needed. The Gyro ball does come with its own caring case.

This is the best gyro ball I've had in a long time. The metal shell feels great and the silicone ring stays put. The mechanics are smooth and I was able to start in within a few tries without the spring system. Once, it gets going the LEDs kick in. Overall, this is a great desk fidget to add to the collection.

I thought this looked like a fun little fitness item, so I am giving it a try. This seems to be a really well-built item; materials are strong and it has a bit of weight to it. These have been around since the 1970's and one person on-line says they have a 40 year old gyro that they still use! This seems to be a popular item for fencers. Watching the video on how to operate it is helpful, I did not do that and spent a day not being successful. Once you get the motion, then you can really start the work. This item says it helps with hand, wrist and arm strength and endurance also with improving circulation. I will say that there is really zero medical that I could find backing that claim up. However, it makes sense to me that working my hand and arm muscles will result in gaining strength, coordination and increase blood flow. After using the gyro for a few minutes, my forearms feel like Popeye's and the feeling of the gyro movement in my hands remains for several minutes; it is doing something for me. I like that there are colors in the spinner and they change with the momentum you create; that is sort of an incentive to work harder. This device comes in a rigid, soft-side case with a zipper and wrist strap. If you are at all interested in increased strength and blood flow in your hands, wrists and arms, at this price point, you cannot go wrong with this item. HIghly recommend.

More difficult to operate than expected, and I could not get it to reach a usable velocity for very long. Returned.
