I bought a cheap one and then this one the cheap one was covered in glue and it cracked right away and didn't absorb any liquid this one took a while to soak but it soaked and I believe they actually care for their products but my reed had a lil gap on the side and I used hot glue to close it since I know nothing about shaping reeds now I can actually play it I thought it was just me since it's my first time not using a med soft but after being capable of making noise while covering the gap I presumed it was the reed and it was

When I opened the package, before I even took the reed out of the plastic holder, I could see the end of the reed was chipped. The cut of the reed at the end is at an ANGLE. I have very little experience with reed scraping, and I could make a better reed. Even after trying to soak it, it made no noise, and I got a SPLINTER in my lip. The metal part of the reed holder was bent and misshapen. I’m sure that this is not the sellers fault, but it is very frustrating to buy a reed because the one you were using broke, only to receive an already broken one. I’m not sure if this is typical, or if this is just a fluke, but it is unacceptable.

My son like these of all he's tried. And they last a bit longer if you take care of them.
