So honest review, I was able little skeptical buying this but it is great. Swapping engines on my 2004 yukon and this came in very handy today breaking the flex plate bolts loose. Simply installs where the starter is. Grabs the teeth of the flex plate and the bolt holes have enough wiggle room to get it just right. Fits perfectly and functions as it should. Even with putting a little more than recommended torque on it, it didn't budge or slip. Great value. Don't know if or when I'll need it again so it'll go in my ever growing tool box.

It worked well, was cheap and easy to install. While it does require the removal of the starter, that’s an easy task and once this tool is installed the crankshaft will not budge. Plus it’s out of the way leaving your work area clutter free to work as needed.

did just what it was supposed to do and securely held the flexplate on an LS style motor. robust construction with a rust resistant coating makes it a tool to be used again and again. Works with motor in or out of the vehicle, removing or reassembling the torque convertor to flexplate.

It worked well enough. Was poorly welded and the teeth didn't line up well with the flywheel... but it functioned. I have low confidence in repeated uses, though!

I use this tool when installing a new crank pulley bolt. It will lock the motor up and allow 1 person to torque the bolt properly. I've used 3 or 4 times now, even bought a 2nd just as a backup.Great tool!

Had to put the flywheel on WITHOUT spacer for the lq4. Just took out the bolt without issue.

Works great for tightening crank bolt on. Leaned all my weight on the bolt and never let go.
