I should have just returned this when I was having a hit or miss experience from the get go. Got this in February. This was the only adapter I could find that claimed to be 8K compatible (and honestly, I thought it said 8K60, but I see that it doesn't claim that now and probably isn't since now I'm seeing it says it's 4K60 instead of 4K120 that DP1.4 supports).I got it for my work laptop and it's been a nightmare to use and has pretty poor design considering the USB-C adapter is extremely top-heavy and could snap the flimsy C connector at any point if the cable it's connected to is bending in any direction. At one point, despite being a reversible connector, it was almost unusable since it was not working reliably in a single direction (that I needed to orient in order to accommodate the power cable that's directly next to the C port. It took some will power (and lots of wiggling) in order for it to get it to work reliably, but now it's more or less back to its old habits.Do yourself a favor and get a cable that has length to it and a solid area near the connector so that the bend integrity isn't as bad as a fat end adapter like this that has 0 bend integrity.
