Kind of a niche product, but there are people out there that need this. I tried this with my Framework 16 on Ubuntu and it fired right up with absolutely no setup. If you've got an old monitor or projector you want to use with a modern laptop, this looks like it can do the trick! Overall build quality of the cable seems good, image was normal for the monitor I used. No weirdness to speak of.If you're one of the people that needs something like this, this should serve nicely.

Quality of the cable is really nice and the length gives you quite a bit of flexibility when using it for different display types. The only issue I ran into was with the PC drivers for the USB-C to VGA, just took a minute to update them and make the adjustments in my GPU software. Overall, its a great cable to have when you need options for connecting to a VGA from a new PC with limited ports.

I plugged this into a Windows 11 box, and it worked immediately. Easy to use. Sturdy and well-built. Nice long cable. If you need VGA, this is a good way to get it.

Works perfect !I needed this in our server room. The newer servers did not have a VGA port, just HDMI. But the rack monitors are all VGA. Problem solved !

I'm using this in a 10" mini homelab rack. I hooked up a minipc to a small vga monitor mounted on top and it works great!
