Adding some more monitors to my system for options trading. Went from 4 monitors to 6 on Win10. I am running an AMD5950X, 128GB, Win10 Pro, and 3070. I had 4 monitors on the 3070 and added this device and easily added 2 more monitors. Simply install the correct plugable software and then plug in the additional monitors. No problem running my additional 1920 x 1080 monitors, Win10 sees all 6 monitors. I might add two more monitors. wow, that was too easy.UPDATE ++ Now running 8 monitors without issue, great product, hope it lasts a few years.

I recently decided to switch from Windows to Mac OS for work. My employer sent me a MacBook Pro M1. I was ecstatic to get started. I plugged it into my docking station and I soon found out that the MacBook Pro M1 does not support dual external monitors. I work in the technology sector and am very reliant on having multiple external displays to do my job well. So I hopped on Amazon to look for a solution and found this adapter. Once it was delivered, it was basically plug and play, very easy setup. And it did work! I was able to use dual external displays with my MacBook in "clamshell" mode but this came with an annoying limitation. The display resolution across both monitors was not the same. I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the MacBook or the adapter. This might not be a big deal for some but I found it to be annoying. So...if you're looking for a way to use dual external monitors with your M1 MacBook, this is a good, not so expensive solution.

My first review: I ordered a dual hdmi adapter and discovered when delivered that it would not enable extended screen(s) on MacBook Air-only mirrored. Went back and looked at ad, the information buried. Returned adapter and ordered this one—works like a charm. I now have 2 extended monitors connected to my 2020 MacBook Air. Recommended.

I spent a good bit of money for what I thought would be a quality product and solution.1. It does not work with my work computer which allows plug and play only peripherals by policy. It just shows Universal Graphic Adapter on the monitor, then cuts signal.2. On my personal computer, only 1 of the ports are usable. The other has weird staticky lines on text wherever the mouse is pointing when I used that display to view my gmail. It is not the monitor as I am able to use regular HDMI to HDMI connection just fine, as well as HDMI to USB-C connection without any issues. So I paid $70 for a single port, hence the value to money rating. Since one of the ports has good quality, I did give a 3 star there to balance the 1 star for the unusable port.I wish I had tested this in time to return it, but alas I did not. Oh well, story of my life I guess.

I had to hop on Amazon and review this hdmi adapter right away! (It's been a while since I reviewed anything but this little workhorse is totally worth it!) First, it was an easy setup - plug in additional hdmi cords into unit and then plug unit into your computer. I do have to say I was a little worried that nothing was appearing on either screen but the unit just had to think for a moment and all is well. OH! You do have to download a driver. That process was super easy and there are drivers for PC and Mac.Since I plugged the adapter in, I've felt more productive (three screens, come on) and it's made my home work life easier. Wish I had adapter a while ago. If you're on the fence about it, BUY IT. SERIOUSLY. You can either duplicate or extend your personal display. I choose to extend because more screens and things to put on the screens the merrier. Haha.The adapter unit is worth every penny. Thanks Pluggable! :)

This is a very neat, compact unit that worked straight out of the box. I was expecting to be messing around with drivers or debugging some complicated setup issue but was delighted to find that connecting this couldn't have been easier.I noticed this does run warm, so I connected it to my laptop using a powered USB3 hub. This isn't essential, you can connect it directly to the laptop, but I prefer things like this to draw their power from a hub rather than the laptop directly. Excellent purchase.
