These knock the pits out easily. We'll have a great batch of bourbon cherries this year!My review process: 5*- Blew me away, features that are much better than anticipated (rare). 4*- Product is as expected, and good quality. This is a STRONG review. 3* - Product should function, but has minor flaws. (Average product) 2*- Product may work, but won't last long/cheaply made/major flaws/issues, item failure w/ some remediation from seller. 1* - Poor item/failure during use, or before, no remediation from seller.

Cherries are a pain in the rear to put, but not with this. It is easy to use and you can get through 2-4 pounds of cherries in a matter of 5 minutes. It washes easy and made well.

Only used it on cherries so far! Pops the pits out leaving perfect fruit for our ice cream! Easy to hand wash or just pop in the dishwasher! Haven’t had it too long but so far so good! Working great and seems like it will hold up well!

This is easy to use. I use it on olives mostly. It pushes the pits out without much waste on the firmer olives. The softer the fruit, the cleaner it comes out. It washes nicely in the dishwasher. It is lightweight plastic and metal materials. I use it often and have not had any issues with it tearing the food apart.

If you normally pit olives with your fingers (with or without first smashing them with the side of a knife), you know it's a messy tedious job. In theory, an olive pitter should make things pretty simple. This is an okay olive pitter.it's slippery and hard to get the right angles to squeeze and hold it steady. The angle of the pitter is great if your olive lines up perfectly but awful if it doesn't. I see why most people say it's good on cherries but bad on olives. Cherries are round and the pits are round and centered. Olives and their pits are elongated. This works pretty well on large soft olives. Olives that are skinny enough to jam into the hole so they stay put do okay. Medium sized olives slip and slide. Sometimes the pitter leaves a perfect canal through the olive. Usually though it breaks them up. And sometimes it's a total mess.Is it easier than just using your hands? Yes. I mean it's still messy either way but the pitter saves some work and protects the underside of your fingernails better.

I don’t have any cherries yet to try this on, but from the way it’s built, it looks like it will pit cherries with ease without squishing them. It is made from good quality material and feels solid and sturdy and fits well in my small hand. It is a good design and washes easily.

I find this so convenient for pitting cherries. It’s like a hole punch for cherries instead of paper. I like the neat, no mess, method removing the pit from your fruit. It has an indent that a cherry fits in. Making sure stem area in facing up, squeeze the handle down and the punch goes through to push the pit out. There’s also pullout tab that locks the device with handle down when not in use. I’m not quite sure how it fares with similar size fruit with pits or cores. It sure works well with cherries though and I love it!
