I used this to add a light to my camera. A ring light would have meant two tripods, so I went with this. It works well. I'm still trying to figure out how to make my camera less wobbly. I think this is user error, and not the product itself.

I'm a hybrid Photographer/Videographer and this little gadget is a quick and simple solution to hold the microphone at the same time, as the main shoe mount is reserved for the flash. It feels durable and screws on tight.

This is a very simple and elegant minimalist design. I have a small camcorder with a small screen that I had difficulty using it to follow sports action. I purchased a cage to use but it was large and cumbersome. This eliminated the need for the cage so now I have much less gear to tow. Works great. I needed to use a rubber washer on the monitor because the screw was too long for the monitor and now it fits perfectly.

I had 2 camera stands cluttering my desk. These bars fit on a stand and the 2 cameras. Very stable great value. Can be used with cameras or flashes.

The BAR itself works great. Nice and thick, should resist bending quite nicely. "The 1/4'' Tripod Screw" on the other hand is weak asf and completely twisted off just trying to get a snug fit. Luckily I was able to work around that piece and didn't end up needing it. Should be sold without this piece because it is utterly useless!

Mi serve per fotocamere con l'innesto per treppiede decentrato, tipo Fujica ST801 o Canon 7 (con quest'ultima posso anche usare una slitta porta accessori, che manca sulla Canon 7). La qualità dei materiali e delle finiture è ottima.

This is a very poor quality item that uses sub-par metal. The paint chipped away immediately on first use, and the screw it came with was made out of metal I could snap with my fingers. It broke under just the pressure on a 5" monitor.DO NOT BUY, get a similar part from a proper manufacturer like smallrig

I bought this so I could mount my shotgun mic on extension instead of the hot shoe on the camera (Sony has not yet learned to open the screen to the side instead of up behind the mic/flash/light/monitor or anything else you mount in the hot shoe) However, it's too short.It isn't long enough to get the mount point past the edges of the camera. So you can't use it. My smaller Ars Technica shotgun mic won't fit in the mount because it's too close to the camera body when mounted to the right. You can't mount it to the left because then you can't plug in any of the cables (HDMI, Mic, Power etc).This is a useless product. It needs to be about 5 inches longer to be useful.... (I know what you're thinking...)
