My blue heeler loves frisbee, unfortunately I had a hard time finding one that was relatively durable yet soft enough for her to catch and flies well. This one is the best one we've found yet, it flies far yet has some mass to it and doesn't hurt her teeth. It's a real nice balance of all those factors we were looking at.She does eventually destroy these and we do have to replace, but at usually just over $10, it's not a big deal and I keep a few of them stockpiled in our house as backups.

EDIT 01.18.2025I'm giving this a try, and my initial impressions may be off. The disc is, indeed, less substantial than the whistle-flyer and than what I was expecting/hoping for; however, after a couple of play sessions, it seems that it may more durable than it appears. It 's still smaller in diameter than I'd like, and the thin profile and narrow lip make it less easy to throw. It may end up being acceptable, but it won't be my favorite. The Doggo? He doesn't seem to mind. :)P.S. As others have stated, it *is* sometimes difficult to get this to fly straight when tossing with decent force and trying for longer distance.INITIAL REVIEW UPON RECEIPTI was expecting something akin to the whistling flyer disc, but this is smaller, flimsy, and will never hold up to my black lab mix and his "catch-it-start-to-return-it-but-shake-it-really-hard-first-then-toss-it-in-the-air-and-catch-it-again-then-chomp-on-it-a-bit-and-then-drop-it-for-another-round" routine. It is probably fine for a small-to-medium dog.I really wish Chuck-It would make a disc just like the whistle-flight one but without the whistles (which get chomped and eventually must be removed as they become a choking hazard). That's what I was expecting here, but no dice.

I had to LOL at someone else's review when they mentioned that this thing doesn't fly straight....you ain't kidding! I'm pretty good at the whole frisbee thing, but whatever I do, this thing loves to slice instead of fly straight! But, beyond that, it's absolutely perfect for the use intended. My 40lb pit mix dog absolutely loves this thing and it's held up to some very intense tug of war episodes and his incessant need to chew the hell out of everything. We use this on a daily basis and it's held up just as well as the day we bought it. A huge upgrade over the other chuck it disc made mostly out of cloth. My dog gives it four paws up.

So my disc obsessed dog loves this frisbee for some reason. It flys too fast for her and it's super heavy, but she picks it all the time. It never seems to fly straight, but maybe that's just me. It's very durable and is made of rubber that doesn't leave bite marks, but for my 35 lbs heeler/border collie, it's so big around she almost trips on it bringing it back. I highly recommend this if your dog needs something that won't be shredded after a few sessions, but it's definitely not a disk for precision or finesse.

Doesn’t fly strait, tends to have more of a rolling action and floating. Also, the rubber tears very easily. Didn’t last long for our Sheppard

Although this frisby is heavy it still sails through the air a good distance giving my dog the perfect run to chase it , Good quality, sturdy and durable, it withstands my dogs teeth pulling it every day as I have a tug of war to get it from her, worth every penny

Mein Hund und ich spielen jetzt schon Monate mehrfach in der Woche damit und er liebt es. Er zerkaut alles an Spielzeug, aber das bekommt er nicht klein. Ich kaufen nur noch Spielzeug von chuckit, da es von der Qualität her voll überzeugt.Ich würde 10 Sterne geben wenns gehen würde 😅
