We got these to supplement our lockout kit. They fit two pole circuit breakers so they can be securely locked out. Works as expected.

These are more of the same I have in my new breaker lock-out kit, which is why I ordered these to go with that kit. The addition is the size of these for two-pole breakers. Once the lower protective plate is removed, simply screw this to the breaker handle and nobody can operate that breaker without removing the device. THESE CAN KEEP YOU ALIVE. If you do electrical work of any kind and can access the breaker panel, YOU NEED THESE to be with you and ready for action to keep someone from lighting you up accidentally. Does not matter if you are an electrician or a homeowner...

I received a total of 6 circuit breaker latching devices. They are better than I expected. They are made of quality materials. They are very sturdy and have a long service life. They are also flame retardant, heat and corrosion resistant. They are easy to install and do not require any tools. They come with cleats so that they can fit different sizes of circuit breakers. Their connections are insulated during use. They do perform. They comply with OSHA standards and are a quality product. I am very happy with my purchase of these circuit breaker latching devices.

This is a solid lockout tagout device for an electrical breaker NOT a circuit breaker. There is a difference. The bottom plate is designed for an electrical breaker, it wonรขโฌโขt work on a circuit breaker. If you take the bottom plate off, you can use this device for a circuit breaker.The device is well-made with one exception. Itรขโฌโขs an exception pointed out by other reviewers, and I concur with them. The hinge looks to be weak. It may last a long time, Iรขโฌโขve moved it probably two dozen times and itรขโฌโขs still good, but it looks stressed. So, although it may last, a pin for rotation would have been much better.Also, as others mentioned, the thumbscrew is exceedingly tight รขโฌโ way too tight! My finger grip isnรขโฌโขt the best, but even with pliers I had to grip hard to rotate it. Once I ran it out and back in, it was much better, but, Wow!, it is tight!Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes, this is a solid, well-constructed device with the one caveat of the hinge. The tight thumbscrew loosens up after it is run in and out. So, for an electrical breaker, this is a good LOTO device, and it works for a circuit breaker if you remove the base.
