I like these very much for the size. They are big enough to last for several nice nights outside, but not so huge that they will sit outside all summer collecting rainwater and getting melty in the heat. The fragrance is much more pleasant than ones I have used in the past. Box contains two candles, says 30 hrs on each one. Considering I am outside for probably two hours max in the evening, and I am not out every night, these will probably last me all summer. They come boxed, so could bring them with you to an outdoor party as a unique hostess gift.

These are similar to any other citronella candles I've bought, which isn't a bad thing. They smell like citronella and they do a good job keeping the mosquitoes away. The scent isn't too strong and the candles don't smoke at all, so we burn them inside the house on nice days then we have the doors and windows open. I would definitely buy them again

I got this for trying to prepare for sitting outside when the weather gets nice and warm and battling those mosquitoes in the evening. I’ve already lit one and set it on my table, and I love the smell that it produces. We all know the citronella smell and this is nice and potent, and should keep any pesky insects at bay. I like the fact that you get to so whenever you get low on wine, you can just use the second one until you’re able to order a restock.

These are nice little outdoor candles. I like that there’s 2 of them so I can space them out around the table on my patio when we’re outside. I live in Houston, we’re there’s a lot of mosquitoes. It’s still cold outside here right now, so there’s no mosquitoes yet and I haven’t had a chance to test these for their intended purpose. I did light them for a few hours to get them started and I can say that they burn cleanly and evenly and don’t have a chemically smell or anything like that. They have a nice citrus smell that’s inoffensive and not too overpowering but not unnoticeable. I think they’re a good value considering you get 2 of them and I really like the tins they come in with the green color and the camping graphic. Assuming they help a little when mosquito season rolls around here, then they could be a 5 star product. Given that I haven’t had a chance to test them in that capacity yet, I’ll give them 4 stars for now and update that rating this summer if necessary.

These citronella candles are great! I love that they're small enough to transport on camping trips - I'm keeping them stored with my camping gear for just that purpose. After blowing out, just place the lid back on to stop the wick from smoking. The lid also prevents the soy wax from collecting dust or dirt. These have a long burn time and a standard citronella scent that repels mosquitos just like any other citronella candle. I appreciate the ingredients and overall quality of the product.

These citronella candles are awesome! The lemongrass scent is fresh and not overpowering, and they actually help keep the mosquitoes away. Love that they have a long burn time—perfect for evenings on the patio or camping trips. The jars look nice too, so they fit right in with outdoor decor. Burn evenly and don’t leave a mess. If you’re looking for a solid citronella candle set that actually works, this is it.

The first and most important thing to get across, is that this is not really a great candle, but rather a decent mosquito repellant. There are a few sets of criteria I use to measure the worth of a candle, and this one misses the bar in a few different ways.First is the smell. It isn't the most calming or pleasing smell ever, but it also doesn't smell bad. Thankfully, the scent doesn't seem to travel far, and even when used indoors, it doesn't fill the room with the citronella scent nearly as well as other candles (this seems to be a good thing and a bad thing at the same time haha).Second is the burn time. Take careful note: the 60 hour advertised burn time is for BOTH candles combined. Not for a single candle. This would be ok, if it weren't for the fact that they cost $30USD. The value isn't really there, especially given the scent profile and general effectiveness as candles. Also, they didn't burn evenly, leaving walls of unburned wax on the inside, meaning there is a lot of burn time left on the table, not very efficient.Their saving grace is their ability to ward off mosquitos. While they wont do well in any sort of wind, they will noticeably reduce the presence of mosquitos in smaller spaces, especially if they are in close proximity to where you are situated. I think the ideal way to use them would be to set up and burn both at the same time, in smaller, more enclosed spaces.Overall, I'm not certain that I would recommend these candles given the above factors, but they do offer a nicer atmosphere in the evenings and early mornings, while helping to keep bugs at bay.

First off, as repellent candles these are absolutely fine at that task. However, they are just a bit pricey for the size and seem a bit misleading regarding burn time. Based on the size of these candles I can see 15 may 20 hours of burn time. 32 hours each seem like a long stretch. My biggest overall concern is the cost, regular listed price was ~30 USD or 15 each which the 15 seems more correct for two.If these come down sharply in price I could recommend these.
