I shopped for way too many hours to find the perfect combo for a step & bumper guard. This does both. Sturdy, great powder-coating, comes with great locking pin & even has a reflector on the back. I bought this after my trailer hitch saved my bumper from a rear end collision. Too many texting drivers don’t pay attention. This item could save your bumper from damage like mine!

I put this on my Toyota Tacoma. Unlike many other hitch steps, this does not drop lower than my hitch receiver so I don't lose any height clearance at the rear. From the rear, you can't even tell that there is a step there because it sits pretty flush with my bumper. However, because it does stick out further, it should be removed for offroading because it does affect your departure angle. For city driving, it works great as a step and rear bumper protector (not sure how well it would do if you got rear ended at high speeds but probably better than nothing). I also added 2 rubber silencer pad so it can help adsorb some of the impact if I did get rear ended. I use this step regularly to get into my truck bed and on top of my Diamondback tonneau cover. It also works great as a seat to sit on and a elevated surface to place my feet so I can tie my shoes. I weigh about 200 lbs and I've jumped on it and this thing is solid so no concerns of it bending.

Installed on Bronco Sport so I could more easily load my kayak, installation instructions were not the best and it does wiggle a little bit. Could be user installation error but overall I'm still very happy with the product.

Good product but has a slight (5 degree approx) angle so it’s not perfectly aligned with the bumper. Only noticeable if you look from above. Still solid made….

Fits perfectly on my 22’ Bronco. Level with the bumper and does not interfere with my parking sensors. Really good finish and also like that it’s 24in wide. I didn’t even have to put in the stabilizer because I have my own vibration free lock. Kinda disappointed though that the included lock would not open, even trying with both keys. I will call their customer support and ask them to replace it. Shouldn’t be an issue. It’s still a 5 star product. I highly recommend this bitch step. I’ve reviewed many and this is the best one.

Installation took maybe 5 minutes. U-bolt stabilized it but didn’t get to use the extra o-rings because my package was missing the locking pin. That’s the only reason why it got a 3 star.2022 Ford F-150 but any 2 inch hitch receiver will do.
