Found out intended receiver of the pin already had one so I have to return, but it looks like one I have used for 50 years and if taken care of (like wiping down after use, never dunk in water). Wood is smooth, spins freely, great quality.

A gift for my daughter the baker. She wanted a nice wooden rolling pin and this one fit the bill. Also comes with a stand to place the rolling on or you can use it to stand your phone to view recipes online while baking/cooking. Recommend.

I have a marble rolling pin of a bit larger diameter that I've been using for years. It's king of heavy though, so I thought I'd try a wood pin. This pin is nice and light, though the pin does not spin on the handles quite as freely as I'd prefer, it has a little bit of resistance. I don't anticipate that will cause me problems though. Otherwise, the pin is well made and comes with a small stand to keep it from rolling around, which is nice.

The mat is helpful as it helps contain the mess that comes with rolling out dough and makes clean up a fraction of the time. The size templates are also super useful if you know the size of your pans you can just match it and know it’s going to fit perfectly. The rollers seem average quality nothing too great about them but they aren’t horrible either. Good price point for what you get

I really like this rolling pin. I have been on the hunt for a rolling pin for myself for some time now. I am not exactly an avid baker so I really appreciate that this rolling pin is simple and sturdy and comes with a mat to help me get it right. So far I have only used this rolling pin for sugar cookies but it works great, and dare I say better than the one my mother has that I have been using for years. It rolls very easily and smoothly and doesn't get stuck easily.Overall a great option if you're looking for a rolling pin to get the job done.

I have a few rolling pins. Marble, wood and fondant and I have to say this rolling pin with stand is of good quality. The rolling pin is smooth and rolls well on the silicone mat.The listing states you can use the rolling pin stand to hold your cell phone, so that is a plus if you are following a recipe online.The silicone pastry mat has the dimensions for pies, pizza and such from 5" to 12". As I am doing pizza tomorrow for a family gathering, my husband can use this mat to roll out the dough.Also on the silicone pastry mat are measurements like cup/Oz/tbsp./tsp and ml. There is on the other side oven temperatures in Fahrenheit/Celsius. It is a thin mat but it is good.For those who don't know about rolling pins, never put them in water. Just a wipe with clean water will do. I roll up my silicone mats and keep them rolled with an elastic.At time of review it is $29.99 with a 10% off. Good deal as one of my silicone mats costed double that yrs ago.I recommend it

It glides really well without any jitter, and is quite light, and it functions about as well as any other wooden rolling pin I've used in my life. The wood's texture is also very smooth and has no rough edges - though on my particular pin, the wood has an ugly pattern running down each side (almost as if that's where the wood was cut by a machine), as well as a couple unsightly black blemishes on it.The little wooden holder accessory works well for holding the pin, and as pictured in the description, you can use it as a stand for your phone too. However for my phone, which is very thin and light, the whole stand has a habit of tipping over backwards very easily, so I don't think it'll actually work well for that purpose unless you lay your phone horizontally on it.The included mat is a nice addition, but I personally will never use it since I don't have room for laying it down in my cramped kitchen, and don't want yet another thing to clean and store. Would've personally preferred to pay less not to have it included, but I'm sure some people would still like its inclusion.Overall it's a nice pin, and it stands-out among other pins due to being very soft and rounded, and for the warmer color of its wood. Just wish I didn't get unlucky with the wood's pattern on mine, since I got a unit with an ugly pattern that doesn't mesh well with my natural decor while it's not in use.
