  • Upgraded Magnetic Ball Catch: No more stuck doors! The built-in powerful magnet works great, adjusting for uneven doors and providing flexibility in door positioning, it eliminates the hassle of loose ball and spring latches. When the door closes, the magnet catch slides up and grabs the baffle plate, providing a noticeable magnetic connection that prevents the door from swinging open, the ball latch remains door close due to the strong holding force.
  • Effortless Installation: The new magnetic latch matches most traditional door latches for top of door, enabling seamless replacement without door modifications. Its simple design allows quick installation, fitting doors of all sizes. So you can quickly install in most closets, saving you time and effort.
  • Easy Adjustment: With the rotating latch on the main body, you can adjust the distance between the magnet and the strike plate to adapt to doors or frames of different thicknesses. With the copper plate at the bottom of the main body, you can fine-tune the optimal retraction distance of the magnet to ensure a perfect closure and meeting various installation needs. This is a much better solution than the ball catch.
  • Widely Used & Durability: The magnetic door catch makes the "handle" on the door nearly invisible yet functional. Commonly used on closet and pantry doors, it's a great replacement for old ball catch latches in double doors. It enhances the door's appearance, reduces mechanical wear, and significantly extends lifespan, especially for doors without traditional latches.
  • Size Guide: The panel measures 2.09 inches in length and 1.02 inches in width. The brass body measures 0.95 inches in length and 0.69 inches in width. The strike plate has the same dimensions as the panel. Please carefully check the dimensional drawing before ordering to ensure the product perfectly matches your needs. If you encounter any issues with the product, please feel free to contact us for assistance.
  • What You Get: 2 set magnetic top door ball catch; Screws (Please be sure to measure the size before drilling the hole for the ball latch). If you encounter any issues with the product, please feel free to contact us for assistance.

My experience with ball latches is that they need readjustment from time to time and the swage that holds the ball in will wear over time. When I saw these magnetic latch replacements, I wanted to give them a try.I used the measurements shown in the photos to determine if they would be an exact replacement for my existing ball latch door installation. The measurements of both the latch and strike plates were close, but not exact. Fortunately, the hole dimensions were identical so no hole plugging and redrilling would be necessary. Only the mortises would need to be slightly modified to allow the plates to sit flush with the door surface. This did not bother me as the latches in this installation are on the top of the doors where they are not seen.Installation of the new latches was very straight forward and took about 5 minutes per latch.I have always been a bit annoyed by the jerkiness, vibration, and noise associated with ball latches. With these new magnetic latches, the closing and opening are very smooth with only the sound of the magnet clicking to the strike plate. Adjustment range is very generous allowing you to reduce the magnet travel to quiet the magnet “click” even more.I am very pleased with the performance of these latches and they are definitely an upgrade from the common ball latches.

The magnets are strong but unfortunately they did not work out for the cabinet I tried them on. They would be useful on light cabinets.

Used this for a different purpose but it still worked. I got these to replace the ball catch for my double closed doors since one of the doors was always getting stuck. Now they move smoothly, easy to open and close,.also much quieter. High quality set

I installed this on an inside door in my house that didn't like to stay shut, it would open itself when the furnace comes on. When I got these I was a little dubious about them, but found that they were really easy to install and are working great. Once adjusted, I just push the door shut and I hear a "click" as the magnet snaps out and clicks against the strike plate, holding the door in place. When opening the door there's very little resistance, but it's plenty to securely keep the door shut when you want it shut. Well done bit of kit, it works very well for my purposes.

I recently had one of the catch balls in our garage door come just loose enough that the spring inside the catch shot it into orbit! Spent a few minutes looking around the garage realizing I'd probably never find it, and made it online just in time to give this set a try. These were an easy swap out to my old latch, took maybe 2 minutes to remove the old one and drop the replacement right in. It works smooth as butter so far!

Solves a problem that didn't exist possibly but neat item none the less.Size is pretty standard so you can swap out an old ball latch.Easy to install, magnet strength is enough. Nice quality appearance once fitted. Not bad value when you factor in how many years you're likely to get out of it.

We chose these because mum has arthritus and had started to struggle using the various door handles around the house. Both mum and dad live with us as we feel the care they both need is here in the home and any emergencies are immediately covered. When you live with elderly folk they often do things that because you are able bodied and still have good hearing makes you momentarily wonder why they do something, well for one both my parents are near deaf and two mum has worsening arthritus and loss of strength in her hands so that explains her no longer turning door handles and just pulling the doors shut.Mum does this in the middle of the night and wakes us up when she goes to the bathroom and then again when she goes back into her bedroom, each time she wakes us up with a loud "clack" as the door latches spring into place, because of her non existent hearing she has no idea that the door latches are so loud and carries on as normal bless her.To be fair to this product the principal and engineering of this magnetic catch is really very good, the trouble we have is that our house is really old and the doors in it open and close differently depending the time of year. When it's hot and dry in the summer the doors sit in their frames perfectly but come the winter they seem to have a little tension in them and are not so happy to sit in the frames as well despite us using two dehumidifiers through the winter months. So maybe it's just a winter thing but the small amount of tension that we encounter with our doors is enough to pull the door open on the magnet a little, if the windows in the house are slightly open to let some air through we find that the two doors with these catches fitted move back and forth banging occasionally.Like I said it could be our old house and it probably is, as it stands we are looking for an alternative magnetic solution to our issue. Thanks for the opportunity to try these though .

Some time ago, a door which closes of the bottom of my staircase had a traditional latch which failed. No amount of turning the handle would open it. At the time I was on the downstairs side and I managed to open it with tools and some stiff wire. The thoughts later of night time fires made me remove the latch permanently. This latch is a very strong alternative, not only does it not require a door handle but its latch shape means it just nestles in a small depression on the door frame. A push / pull at the door frees it with no concerns about it seizing up. If anything inside the latch fails I think it more likely to stick open rather than shut, even then I don't see it being so firmly closed as to create an issue.Recommended.
