I've been using this for over six months ths and love it. Doesn't take up and space, works great, not expensive. If you need a press this is it.

I've been using a pen press for about the last 10 yrs to assemble various pen kits and other items. This Between Centers Pen Press for Lathe seems to give much better results especially when inserting pen transmission, you can ease into the correct position using the quill shaft on tailstock. Takes up much less space than a pen press also. Easy to keep parts lined up. The recessed nylon end has caused no issues or marring on any pen tips or other parts.

I was looking for a pen press system, but wasn’t sure which one is best. So I went and ordered this one and it end up being great easy to use and won’t take a big space in your work table, you can simply put it with your other tools inside a drawer and use when you need to.

Works good. No complaints. It goes back in the little plastic box it came in when not in use. It takes up less space than a tabletop tool.

Excellent product, high quality, and easy to use. This makes squeezing homemade pen parts together very easy.

I was in the market for a pen press. I would highly recommend buying this instead cost less and works awesome. I have pressed over 30 pens works as intended.

I used this a few times after I bought it, worked soso, however the nib slips way up in the plastic and doesn't "feel" right. The transmission is very hard to get to go all the way to where it needs to be with this device. I tried a suggestion from YouTube and used a Parallel Clamp (mine are Bessey but any good clamp would work), the parallel clamp is easier to use and much more precise. The clamp is way easier to install the transmission with.

I've used the free standing and this type. I can assemble pens just as easily with either type but I like this type the best. It cannot be used to disassemble a pen if you ever need to.

Economical and doesn’t take up room like a pen press does. Works great

Works, but the pen parts tend to wonder on the metal side, making it not go straight. out of 3 pens, only one did not get a bit damaged. noticed it bent the ends of the transmission on 2 pens, also had to use my vice to install some parts as I could not get enough pressure with this alone. New to pen turning, so looking for something that works better.
