UPDATE- battery life is not good for long hours, very easy to take to shows, longer hours need unit without battery, it works well for the money

Great little electronic microscope, easy to assemble and easy to use. connected to my laptop for a bigger screen. The only thing I would suggest is, it would be nice if the LCD screen could be tilted. Other than that, very happy with my purchase.

This is good quality for the price!! Easy to use and image is clear! Size is a little small but for the price its good. Zoom is a little tricky but with thd help of a box it works great!

I got the 4" one and it's pretty good. If you want to move the base out of the way and use it without that then you'll have to put a weight on it to prevent it from toppling over, as the base is very light. But it seems pretty good otherwise. The lens cover came with some scratches, but the actual lens was clean. Doesn't come with power adapter to charge, so you'll need a phone brick or computer to plug the microusb cable into.Also, it ships with 50hz instead of 60hz enabled for some reason. Possibly to save battery? So make sure to go into settings and change it to 60hz if you want.

Decent for what it is, definitely fun for weekend projects but the overall materials are extremely cheap and the screen is an acceptable resolution but nothing great, I guess you get what you pay for.FOR MAC USERS, I was unable to get this microscope to recognize any of my modern macs from M1 MaBook Pros to an older 2013 intel Mac Pro all running OS Monterrey. The product says it's compatible with Macs through photo booth but the instruction say otherwise. Perhaps you need a much older Mac? Who knows, if you want this for something serious I'd spend a little more money.
