Strong anchor plate
For those laptops with no security slots, we are equipped with anchor plates lined with strong adhesives
To fix the anchor plate on the hard surface of the device, just insert the lock head into the slot, and then wrap the cable around the fixed object.
Instructions
1. Pass the cable through the key hole and connect it to the object.
2. Connect the computer lock to the device. Note that before inserting the computer lock, please set a password, the original password is 0000.
3. Pull down the computer lock switch and mess up the computer lock password.
4. At this point, your computer is securely locked.
Cut-Resistant Cable
It is made of engineered braided carbon steel and wrapped in a protective cover, providing the same level of cut resistance as thicker cables, and the length of the cable tie can be adjusted to maintain better mobility and easy storage

These are easy to use, and if you get into the situation where you can't unlock you can use a box cutter and remove the lock but scraping under it and unsealing the glue pad it sits on. Now this glue pad is very study and holds up well. You won't get that lock back open but you can replace it with a new one. I checked for a recovery method before I installed to my equipment. I am very satisfied. You can't pull this lock off. You will have to use a box cutter. I can work my photo biz and not worry about my equipment walking off.

This works well, the combination is easy to set, the adhesive pad is very good just be aware that any adhesive pad can be defeated with a razor blade and a little time. Epoxy would change this. However, I am ever confident in and happy with the lock.

98% of the time the set combination does not lock or unlock the device. It has taken up to an hour of clearing and re-entering code (same code every time) to lock/unlock. I’ll be going back to a key. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I used an old lock and cable because I could not figure out the new one. Make sure the adhesion is fairly high so you can tilt the screen as far back as you want.

Not a good theft deterrent b/c the adhesive sticker that connects the cable attachment to the computer is so weak, it can be pulled off very easily - in fact, it just fell right off my laptop from the weight of the cable!
