Great cam for my wood/towing truck. Makes good power with a great throttle response. Sounds really good as well. You definitely can tell the truck has a cam. I would definitely buy again. Use good break in lube, follow the break in procedure for a hydralic flat tappet, use oil high in zinc or an additive of zinc (use good brands), ect. Don't fall for all the internet hype about flat tappet cams. Great cam for the money. I also used the DLC lifters, so far everything is great.

Torquey cam as what it said. ...82 350 changed out the cam lifters with this changed the way the truck felt under load going up hill in a higher gear.. makes it nicer

Cam itself is awesome. The lifters that came in the kit are horrible. The 1st one was tapping 5 mins into the cam breakin.. its got approx an hour of run time on it now with another ticking. So not only frustrating, but out alot of time and money on a fresh rebuilt that is gonna have to be tore back down.

Decent little cam for an all around use 383. Basic truck motor for some towing.
