My guy immediately tried them out when I got them out for him. They’re a bit small for him, but he is quite a big cat - 12 pounds & growing - possible Maine coon/nebelung mix for size reference.He can still use the scratcher just fine and enjoys lying on it. He likes to place his toys on it and play with them.The scratchers are a bit light, so when he scratches them, they lift a bit up, which startled him at first. They seem sturdy and function well / as they should. If they could be a bit thicker or have a stand to hold them, that would help the lightweight issue.

The size is great for my 7 pound cat, got the smaller one. She goes to it to scratch and also loves to curl into it. It’s a chic, classy little bed that doesn’t stand out too much - which I’m a huge fan of. And when you order it comes in a set of two, so when she had scratched it up I was able to replace it. She probably took about 3 months to completely scratch up the first one.

My cat loves to look at this, and thin about sitting in it, but it ain't yet (in almost a month) and it has NEVER scratched it. So, yeah, it's durable...for now. I like the look. The wood exterior makes it blend in more with th floors and furniture, but it is clearly cheap material (wasn't expecting much more, I guess), but the thing with these cat "toys" is that they are always hit or miss--not the fault of the product; just a consequence of the cat's personality. Would I buy one again? Probably not. It was meant to deter the cat from scratching other things in the house, and that it has not done. But if he one day decides this is the greatest thing next to a leather sofa, I will revise the review.

I had been using a different brand and slightly different design than this one but it wasn't available. This one is actually much better designed and the cat loves it! With the other brand, when I unfolded it, the paper would usually start to tear away from the scratcher and I'd just put tape on the sides to keep it together. This one is put together much better.

These are large enough for our boys to curl up in comfortably and get in and scratch around!!! Both of our cats weigh in around 14lbs

I have 4 cats and they love it! I got this back in the beginning of December and it is still holding up very well and my cats still use it daily weather to scratch or just sleep in! To note I do have 2 cat trees with scratching post and other scratching items for them so they are not only limited to this item but I love the design of it and will definitely be repurchasing once they destroy it lol.

My cat was not interested in this at first and I was tempted to return it. However, now he loves to groom himself while sitting on it and also curls up in a ball to sleep on it. So cute!
