This works great for steaming fresh vegetables or for melting chocolate. The pans are heavy duty metal.

I made fudge, haven't used the steamer yet. So far so good. Time will tell. This is better than using a regular pot, glad I got it.

Love the stackable feature and heaviness of the pots. You can cook one thing or three things at once.

I used the double boiler portion to make my own rovel cheese. Worked well. I haven't used the steamer yet.

These made a foul smell when heated. It was bad even the second time we used them. It was a nasty chemical smoke smell that filled the whole house and made the food inside the double boiler taste gross.
