I needed to grind down some spots of concrete in my basement and I will say this thing is pretty good. It ate through that concrete like it was no ones business. It did the work really quickly, this thing is really easy to handle. The dust skirt works really well with the right vaccum and I like that it comes with a few options depending on your vacuum hose size. It really did keep me from making a huge mess everywhere. The front part of the skirt comes off so you can grind up to the edge of the wall which was super helpful because I did need to get into some tight places. However, there was a closet space that I just couldnt get this into, it was a little too big. I had to break out my smaller hand grinder. Overall though, this thing has some power to it and it did make quick work of the concrete with the right disk. The one that comes with this is actually pretty good. I did get another 5 inch disk with a higher grit just so i could clean up the smaller imperfections better. I am glad I got this, it was much better than renting a giant machine to grind the same area.

Overall, it works alright, but is just not powerful enough to quickly remove concrete. My biggest complaint is that it didn't come with any of the grinding wheels shown in the pictures - instead it came with a kind of crappy grinding disk that is better suited for sanding than concrete grinding. Returning it because it kind of sucks.Pros: great dust collection; comes with hose adapters for vacuums; easy to useCons: not very powerful, grinding disk is not very aggressive, takes hours to level the smallest imperfection in a concrete floor.

First unit was defective, seller imeadiatly made exchange and new unit worked great!!

This grinder seemed great for the cost. After grinding some floor patch over concrete it burned out the motor and stopped working. We do a lot of floor patching and prep so we didn't use it out of the scope its made for.Update: Seller has refunded my money and has resolved the issues. They stand behind their products even when issues arise.

The design and use is comfortable and easy to operate. Unfortunately, the motor overheats after five minutes of use and it must cool down. If using for an extended period of time, 30 minutes the motor will likely burn up as did mine.

I liked everything about this grinder, it's built well, functions properly, comes with everything you need from quality vac hose to grinder dust collector and grinding wheel. It's all perfectly adjusted ready to use. You will have to use it to believe it! Great price as well. John.

Motor will overheat after 20mins even with the dust collector and vacuum. The bearing will ceased with heat. Im going back to my Canadian Tire angle grinder
