I used this sander and was immediately impressed. Dust collection was excellent with a vacuum attached. The spring loaded pad is a great feature as it assists in easing the pad onto the surface, eliminating gouging. I used a 240 grit on slowest speed. It sanded and finished perfectly. It's light, and runs smoothly. I use a $500 electric pole sander that's getting too heavy for me for ceilings, so I gave this hand held sander a try. I'm glad I did. I have to say, it's a nicely built tool for the cost. It's not a professional grade tool, however, it definitely gives professional grade results. I used it for new construction, 5 rooms and it worked flawlessly. If it konks out after one or two jobs like this, it was worth the money.

I’m using the 400 grit on our drywall and could go higher. lol. IMO it’s too powerful. I’m keeping it, maybe I can use for small areas or other sanding types. Easy to use and hooking to a shop vac is perfect. We have the super big WEN with an extendable handle and that outperforms this by far but it’s harder to manage.

This drywall sander works excellent. Dust collection works well also when hose is connected to shop vac. Recommended!

For the price this is a good drywall sander. It comes with 7†8 hole sanding discs 2 of each grit. 150, 180, 240 and 400. It has a speed adjustment wheel to adjust speed if the sander is jumping or gets too aggressive. It has a dust suction control to adjust the suction. I just set it on max. The dust control is ok but not great without running a vacuum with it but you are sanding drywall so it’s not going to get everything. The dust bag is sufficient size for a large room and easy to empty. The cord is long enough I sanded a complete 5x12 bathroom with the cord plugged in about 3’ inside the room. The weight is not bad considering it’s an inexpensive sander. The instructions are very limited but they cover most of it ok. It does have a guard you can remove to get close to corners but I didn’t use that feature. Don’t expect it to be dustless or idiot proof. I saw reviews of the sander hopping or digging into the drywall. I found that this is because the speed is too slow. Increase the speed of the disc and it settles down. Don’t use too aggressive of sand paper if you don’t have enough material to remove. This sander will take off material very quickly even with 400 grit so move fast if you have aggressive grits on. Overall for small projects this sander is worth the money. I would get a better one if I were doing larger projects.

I don’t know how people give this five star review don’t get me wrong. It stands like it should, but it is one dusty machine. It talks about how dustless it is, which is why I gave it one star if they didn’t mention anything about dust and say how low it is, I would give it five because it works, but it is messy

Easy to use much like commercial drywall sanders—be careful to hold it flat on the surface ot it will gouge. Wish it would do a lower rpm like my commercial model. Maybe way less grit paper? I used 240 and it almost removed too much (i use 120 for hand sanding). Overall from one use I would rate it good. The led lights were not helpful to me, but i didnt care about that when I bought it. Probably awesome for removing texture—which I havent tried yet. If you are a professional finisher its “okâ€. For a homeowner probably awesome!

I buy way too much from Amazon and hardly ever leave a review but WOW, this Sander saved me so much labor I felt I owed it to the Beast! The former owner of my cabin got into some funny substance issues and decided applying 1/4"-3/4" of joint compound all over the walls in fun patterns was attractive, it wasn't. This Sander took everything down to the original paint with no issues at all. The power, suction bag, led light and lack of overheating just had me amazed. It was still labor, don't think it's going to magically sand itself but man did this inexpensive sander Over Deliver!!!! It's hungry, Let it EAT!!!!

I bought this for my husband who does home renovations and he loves it. Works great and even is more light weight. It's worth the money and easy to use. Sands walls great and collects the dust .

Je l ai utilisé pour poncer une salle de bain et un couloir, enduit, poncage répété 3 fois, la machine fait bien son ,job, avant soit je poncais à la main, soit avec une ponceuse excentrique, mais l excentrique idéale pour poncer était morte après 1 journée continue d utilisation. ( poussière). Cette machine est encore fonctionnelle après 4 jours d utilisation intensive. La lampe intégrée sur le pourtour est GÉNIALE, on peut faire un travail de qualité sans défaut grâce à elle.Pour les angles la petite languette est sympa pour se rapprocher des angles même s'il ne faut pas compter se rapprocher à moins de 2 cm du bord, donc le reste à faire à la main, alors qu'avec une excentrique on peut être bord à bord, ceci est dû au contour.Côté poussière, je la branchais sur un aspirateur externe, c est galère car l'embout n'est pas standard, mais avec du scotch on y arrive, il serait bien de prévoir un embout pour au choix aspirateur ou sac.La molette d ouverture d'aspiration marche bien, selon le réglage on peut gérer l'effet ventouse sur le mur. D ailleurs si vous la réglez au max la machine est littéralement collée au mur sans la tenir. ( bon dans ce cas pas possible poncer).La machine à son poids , donc ça fatigue à l'usage mais c'est nettement qualitatif. Les papiers fournis sont de très bonne qualité, j ai utilisé le 240 et 400, ce qui permet d avoir un finish hyper doux et fin fournis avec la machine et j ai réussi à faire une salle de bain de 10m2 et un couloir de 6m avec mur plafond, et 3 poncage (reenduit enduit de finition entre chaque poncage)Ah oui il y a aussi une languette pour poncer plus ou moins fin, ç'est très utile, mais si on ponce rapide, bien tenir la machine, en mode fin elle ne vibre pas et le maintien est aise sur le mur, en mode brut il est plus difficile de la maintenir à plat mais ça ponce vite.+ ponce bien+++ lampe+ changer les disques en usage et aisé, les disques accrochent toujours bien au socle malgré de multiples échanges.- manque adaptateur aspirateur- aurais aimé poncer plus proche du mur sans la languette.- ils devraient proposer des disques de leur marque en achat car ils sont qualitatifs => j ai contacté la marque et j ai acheté les disques directement chez eux donc point négatif résolu.15.99$ les 10, port compris. maxxt@maxxt-tech.comSur la photo 1 cm mesuré au plus proche mur mais comme le socle est en mousse le poncage est plutôt à 2 cm du mur, sinon il faut lever un peu côté mur pour avoir un meilleur appui et se rapprocher du centimètre.Je recommande néanmoins l'achat, car c est un bon produit certes pas parfait mais qui fait gagner un temps énorme.

Franchement pour le prix cet outil fait le job ! Pas pour un usagé professionnel mais pour le reste ça marche bien ! La lampe led est un réel plus !

J'ai poncé des murs dans un état pitoyable, elle fonctionne très bien. Un plus pour les leds. Ne pas utiliser pour des finitions. Assez lourde et pas hyper précise. Elle et moi, on a vécu l'enfer, on est ressorti vivant ðŸ‘À voir si elle survivra au prochain chantier...
