I received this elastic probably about a month ago now, and I’ve been using it when I make hair ties. It’s not amazingly soft, but it’s not a rough, unpleasant-to-touch material by any means, and it doesn’t damage my hair, especially as much as normal hair ties do. Besides, the purpose I’m using it for is under cotton or silk materials, and it works great for that use. A 6†measurement stretches up to around 15†as shown in the photos provided. A little literally goes a long way, so I can see this roll lasting a long time.
