I have been using these corner clamps for woodworking projects. They are prefectly square and assemble easily. I considered buying a package with two squares but I'm really glad I got this product with four corner squares.

I am a hobbyist wood worker and love to make picture frames for all the family photos. Until I received the corner clamp setup, it was an uphill fight to keep things square. This set however has really made it easier to ensure I am on the right track. It obviously works for more than picture frames too, just about anything where you want to maintain that 90 corner. The one issue you will find with this kit however is it is designed only for smaller boards. With the threaded right angle screw only being about 3.5" wide, minus what you will need for the ends, you are looking at less than the width of 2.25" of working space. That however still leaves quite a bit of space for some nice projects. The sets L brackets and end blocks are made from aluminum and I especially like that the bracket comes with one outside leg marked in metric and the other in inches, which makes it easier for those who may not be able to convert as quickly as they would like. The threaded braces all seem to be clean threads, I was able to put a plastic nut on each, spinning it down/off with little problem. The case is laid out nicely and has some very nice solid foam rubber holding all the pieces in place. It isn't the cheap polyfoam that pulls apart over time. This is a dense foam that snuggles each part, protecting them from banging around or falling out everytime you open the case up. The outer case is standard impact resistant plastic with 2 buckles to keep it closed. The clasps seem solid, they do take a bit of effort to ensure they snap in to place as well a bit more umph! to open. However that means the case is unlikely to just pop open and spill the contents. This setup is a solid addition to any wood workers setup, from the hobbyist like myself to even a professional looking for an extra setup. The price makes them a good deal. I've been using these non-stop since they arrived and I can only ask myself why I didn't buy some before.

These are some very handy corner clamps, at a very reasonable price. A little simple in function, but that's not a bad thing in this case since they're extremely durable and small, easily stored.

Here is the good. The kit comes neatly packed and arranged into very nice case (see pic). The clamping process utilizes each piece, two sets of of each piece per 90 degree jig. The very first thing I wanted to test was the true-ness of the 90 degree angle. If it was not accurate, the whole set would be junk. Much to my delight (and surprise) all four pieces were dead on when tested against my trusty machinists square. If there is quality control in production, then you should expect the same thing I found in this kit.The questionable part: As for the actual functionality and practicality of this style of corner clamp (regardless of who manufacturers or sells it), it is a bit clumsy to set up. You need to make sure both pieces of wood are pushed snug into the corner for a tight joint, which means it would be very helpful to have an extra set of hands. Regardless, it is do-able. I have a couple of other sets of corner clamps, both with different methods of clamping, (including an expensive Bessey set) and honestly I have never gotten any of them to work for me as well as expected. I typically end up going back to a homemade squaring jig and long wood clamps to get the job done. However, the one application where I see these jigs really excelling is when joining corners with pocket screws so the pieces don't shift when inserting the screw (as is the typical concern). That being said, I don't use pocket screws very often, but I just got through building a face frame (using pocket screws) for a coffee bar I am building and these worked very good for that project. You may or may not like this style of clamping, but I can honestly say the quality of this product is up to par.

If you build small boxes or something similar, you can't have too many of these clamps in your shop. These are well machined and well marked. They are not a "quick clamp" so sometimes the threaded knobs can seem a bother, but that's just the nature of the beast. You have more clamping points than with a quick clamp and more accurate holding.
