Was looking for a simple, reliable pair of loppers at a reasonable price. These work just fine. They are slightly longer than my last pair, making it easier to cut the bigger branches when I'm testing the limits. So long as they hold an edge after the first sharpening, I'll be happy with getting 5 years out of them (I use them a lot).

Purchased these for the sole purpose of cutting invasive bush Honeysuckle in Cincinnati. I volunteer trail build mountain bike trails around the city and have absolutely beat these loppers up clearing forest in the past year. Definitely pushed the limits on cutting size and they’ve held up and still perform well, despite the blasted bumpers. For normal around the house use they would no doubt hold up a long time.

If you want to save on money, have the same build quality as a stihl lopper, save by buying this. It works, it is durable, and Corona makes some nice products for sure. However, if you are a professional, and doing lopping all day long, get the lighter Stihl product, 2-3 times the price but weight is everything when it comes to hours upon hours of work with loppers.

As a professional gardener, I'm particular about my tools. These have served me very well the past several months. One word of advice, that does not reflect on the quality of the tool:Yesterday I was pruning a Japanese maple that had a support dowel wedged at the base. Knowing the age of the tree, it had probably been there 20 years. It was about a quarter inch round and mottled brown. I assumed it was made of wood, and went to chop it off with my new loppers. That's when I discovered it was a solid steel bar. Naturally, my loppers did not cut through it, but it put a significant dent in my nice sharp blades. Lesson learned.

These are awesome - some of the best I have bought and I’ve bought a few over the last thirty years. Strong arms on the looper means they cut through large branches with no tearing or rough cuts. Fantastic.
