I received this deep fryer from Costway in advance of estimated arrival. It's the 3.2 cup size and 1700watts. I washed the componants and loaded it with oil. I set the heating coils in the tub and oil, connecting it to the outer frame slide. Setting the temp first, then setting the timer, turns it on. I warmed it up to temp. 374', in about five minutes. I had a basket of fries ready in the basket. I'd dried the fries off before lowering in, causing it to splash less and get crispier! I covered it and monitored for the cooking time. The cover's windows works well and stays see through. The oil seemed to stay very hot and cooked well. Cleaning was easy. The basket was the hardest but it went well. I avoided the control lettering as several reviewers mentioned the numbers and letters rub off easily. I covered mine with a wash cloth keeping it from the heat element. They stayed clean. All in all it works well and wasn't messy, and cost was very competitive. I would recommend this product to others.

I love the fryer but I took a star off because you have to turn the timer and power on for it to work. That literally makes no sense to me. But it gets hot quick and as of today it’s working pretty good. Easy to clean and filter the grease.

I am contacting seller to find out what the warranty is on this product. Bought March 2020, tried it tonight, February 28, 2021, product doesn't work, light would come on, element would heat. Only used 3 times. Had to make french fries in pot. Just not the same. I will be totally dissatisfied with this product if they don't replace it. Will contact seller to see what they will do about it. Contacted seller, yup it just past the 1 year date and they said, "oh well" it's not covered under warranty. Didn't bat an eye that it was only used 3 times. Position was stated, "Out of warranty". Buy this product use it at your own risk. Should have known for the price I was getting a Chinese made POJ (piece of junk). Next time spend the money on a higher quality unit.
