This is a nice design and ok quality. I have a real silver and turquoise bolo tie with a real leather cord and this looks similar but you can tell it is not as high quality. However, for the price, I think this is a good deal.

I like the detail of the rope ends and the braided lines. The centerpiece of the bolo tie is a bit smaller than expected. But it slides easily and they seem well built.

Another good bolo. I got this as part of a costume and liked how it looked. I dont usually wear stuf like this but when you drss up may was well play the part. These are really nice, well made and look good. It functions as described, there aren;t any issues. Good find.

Nice looking bolo tie. Certainly not heirloom quality, but looks and wears just fine. I have never worn a bolo tie before, but given that I do occasionally wear a western style vest, I thought I would give this a try. I’m happy that I did so.I am taller than most and ordered the gold+silver eagle version. I liked the eagle, and it was one of the largest options available. While the gold color does look like gold, the “silver†portion is more of a pewter or heavily tarnished silver. It does look similar to what I see in the Amazon listing’s pictures, and I am happy with that look.The metal pieces are some sort of lightweight metal, perhaps a zinc alloy. The eagle is also hollowed out on the backside to use as little material as possible. Still, the detail looks very good and there is enough weight there that it doesn’t really flop around. Might also be due to the fact that this was the widest option available, but I have never seen it flip to the backside while wearing it.The term “leather†here likely refers to some chemical laden, stretchy man made material. I doubt any cow gave their life for this leather. There is a very definite chemical smell to this and there’s a lot of stretch to it. Not like some elastic fabric, but able to stretch more than any other “leather†item I’ve ever owned. Still, it looks fine and the smell has mostly gone away. I’m happy that the one I received is about 46†long from tip to tip. That’s a few inches longer than what’s stated in the listing. The longer length works well for me.The eagle always stays where I put it. The cord slides through a couple of bent metal pieces. You probably could press down on it to make it tighter or loosen if needed, but so far mine has worked well just as I received it.I can recommend this bolo tie. There are a number of good looking options, and so far at least it has held up. I am pleased with this purchase and I will be on the lookout for others in the future.
