About the Kit
A basic kit with magnetic bichromatic powder can be used with success on glass, plastic, some countertops, smooth wood and many other non-absorbent surfaces.
When you use magnetic powder you'll have an easier time cleaning the mess. School teachers will enjoy the fact that the powder is reusable, just pick it up with the magnet.

Magnetic Applicator
Easily apply magnetic powder with this magnetic applicator; featuring a powerful magnetic spring-loaded handle.
Magnetic Fingerprint Powder
Bichromatic fingerprint powder appears black when dusted on a light-colored surface and grey when applied to dark-colored surfaces. It is effective on most non-absorbant surfaces.
Fingerprint Lift Pads
25 lifting strips are included in an easy-to-use peel-off pad.
- Peel off a strip of tape
- Lift the developed print
- Stick the the tape to a backing card.
Fingerprint Cards
Fingerprint cards have two sides. Place the lifted print on the smooth, glossy white backing. On the reverse of the card is an area for the case number, time, date, and diagram to show the location of the print.

It has good tape and an evidence bag and cards, however the powder is awful. It not only doesn’t stay on the applicator it doesn’t stick AT ALL to any prints. It was like throwing sand at it. I went over it with my leftover dust from my previous kit and instantly had prints, so the powder doesn’t work. Rest of the kit is useful enough just order different powder

Everything works except the powder. The powder does not stick to the fingerprint and will not uncover any latent fingerprints on any surface.
