This cuckoo clock is okay for the price—I'd consider it worth $20. However, the instructions are either incorrect or incomplete. I'm not sure how to set it to chime at the hours I want. The instructions warn against manually adjusting the time by turning the hands, but that's actually the only way to do it. It's a cheap, plastic clock, fine as a novelty or for kids, but not ideal for serious use.

Dead on arrival. Put the batteries in, bird would not come out at first. Its song was garbled like it was underwater. Avoid this clock at all costs. There are better clocks out there. I’m returning this clock.

This coo coo clock is just as cute as can be.I hung it in my kitchen and it looks great . It is very quiet ,no ticking noise. Super easy to put together. Just one small problem,i think my little bird caught a cold or something in shipping because it makes a terrible gurgling sound when it pops out to coo coo. (Joking about the cold) .One good point is you can turn the volume up or down as it suits you. I like it very much.

The sounds it makes are like some kind of Amazon Rainforest, and running water along with a Cuckoo bird. And the volume is impossible to dial properly, always too loud or not loud enough. Otherwise my daughter loves it

When the cuckoo part of the clock went off, it sounded like it was underwater and sick. I had to return it.

I love how you can adjust the volume using the dial in the back and can even set the cuckoo to go off at a different hourly rate than on the hour. Great gift for my son he loves it
