The clock is very nice, truly handmade and a work of art. I gave 4 stars because...1. I understand that it is handmade, thus make the result of the entire appearance of the clock depends on the artist at the time, as for me the dogs (right) side is placed different compared to the advertisement. It's OK, but at least make the pattern the same.2. During cuckoo, the train moves all together with the dancers and it's quite a sight to observe. In fact if you place the clock beside your working area at home, you'll look forward seeing the next cuckoo. The problem with it is the sheer size of the clock that when hanged on the wall, you will see mostly the bottom of the entire clock with staples, pendulum moving and greenish colored wood as base of the clock.They should have made the bottom part of the clock more presentable, but to my honest opinion - these clocks are better on top of something rather than hanged. On a console table or somewhere you will appreciate the beauty of the entire set moving, rather hanged on a wall which somehow protrude way too much to appreciate. Hanged to high and you'll mostly see the bottom of the clock, hanged too low and chances are someone will hit it accidentally.Having said above, if you place the clock somewhere flat (top of a table), you need to modify the bottom by raising it abit so that the pendulum attachement inside the clock doesn't get in the way, so abit of work to be done and by placing it on a table top, you cannot attach the bottom pendulum anymore and will not be visible.Overall it is still worth buying, you just have to figure out where and how your home can properly integrate the clock, otherwise it will be just another odd cuckoo clock hanging in the middle of the living room without anybody actually knowing its a train moving around because all they can see is the green base of the clock.

This product has worked flawlessly since 2023. Keeps time very well. Every hour the cuckoo chirps and a different song is played. It takes awhile to adjust for fall daylight savings since you shouldn't move the hands backwards and you have to stop every hour to let the cuckoo do its thing. I would definitely recommend this product !

Beloved clock from the moment it arrived. Battery-powered (change batteries once a year), keeps perfect time, and love the 12 different tunes. I can tell what time it is just by listening. Just adore the moving train, dancers, and the cuckoo. Lovely to look at, it takes you away to a beautiful land of music and chalets!
