This is the perfect size for a couple of eggs. It has great non stick quality. I also like the fact that it can go in the oven. Nice pan!

I've had other non-stick pans, but this one is so much better than those, they don't even belong in the same category. I still use a little olive oil when I cook -- habit -- but I think that's not really necessary. Even when the food starts to burn, it doesn't stick.RE: food starts to burn -- this pan cooks so much faster, and at lower heat, that it took some adjustments to my cooking. This pan cooks well with about 2/3rds the amount of heat as my other pans, in about 2/3rds the time. Now that I've figured all that out, I hardly ever burn the meat. Cleanup is a breeze. I wipe the pan with a damp paper towel as soon as I put the food on the plate, just to get rid of the leftover oil, sauce, whatever. (Probably not necessary, but I'd rather throw that stuff in the trash than run it down the drain.) When the pan is cool, I set it in the sink, add a few drops of dish liquid, fill it with water, and let it set for a while. I go back later and use a dishcloth or paper towel to rub the surface of the pan with the soapy water, rinse, and it's done. There's been no scrubbing necessary. (Maybe if I burned something to a crisp, but I haven't done that.)I bought the 8-inch skillet for single-person meals (4 oz meat) and the 12-inch skillet for family-sized meals (1 lb. meat). I like them so much that I've just ordered the 11-inch flat griddle; I expect it'll make reheating leftover pizza much easier. These pans are absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend them.

Made my spinach egg white omelette in this pan this morning and it came out perfectly! Didn't stick not one but! I did add a little oil prior to but my gut tells me I could have gone without it. I'll do tomorrow's oil-free and see what happens. In any event I love this pan. It's got nice weight to it. The handle is comfortable and doesn't get hot. The pan is completely flat in the center so no spinning pan while sitting on the electric eye of the stove. Everything cooked perfectly even. It cleaned up super easy I mean NOTHING was stuck. It's worth every penny which by the way was extremely reasonable in my opinion. If you want true nonstick this is the omelette pan for you!

WHAT I LIKE - This is a well constructed anodized aluminum pan. I like the feel of the pan as compared to those other thin & flimsy pans. I DON'T use metal objects in this pan, just wood, silicone & plastic. I DON'T put it in a dishwasher.WHAT I DON'T LIKE - The non-stick coating is very soft and scratches easily. After hand washing and hand drying the pan, it is hung from a rack. The coated edges (non-cooling surface) are starting to chip away.SUMMARY - Like I said in my summary, I consider all non-stick coated pans a yearly replacement item. Would I purchase another Cuisinart pan? Absolutely! They feel good, and it's quite non-stick. You'll love it for omelets.

Outraged and sickened at inflated costs of just about everything, including cookware, it was disheartening to see a plethora of eight-inch frying pans on the market priced starting at $30. On a fervent search to find a quality, reasonably priced pan, it was relieving to come across this find from Cuisinart, a brand that's never failed me. This quality, good looking pan is superb. It's sturdy, with a satisfying weight, and the non-stick surface and heat conductivity work effortlessly. The handle that stays cool through cooking on the stovetop is also a great feature. At $20, you can't beat it.

This pan is the answer to my dreams of the ideal pan. It's not a lightweight, but still is easy to manage. The long handle is perfect and gives balance when the pan is carried. I love this pan for making things like risotto. I can cook pasta in a small amount of liquid, adding more as needed, which is perfect for me because as an older adult it's hard for me to manage large pots of water, especially when the water is very hot.And cleanup is incredibly easy. The pan's finish is completely stick-proof. I'm thinking of buying another one to keep as a backup in case anything happens to this one. I can't believe it's available for such a comparatively low price. I've tried to think of anything negative I could say about it, but there's nothing.

Had this pan for a few months and it really is a work horse. I use this just about everyday for all types of egg dishes, steaks and chops etc. Cleaning is a breeze and I’m not real careful with different utensils. Most of the time I use a silicon spatula but I’ve also used metal utensils, forks. Usually by this time I’m looking for a replacement but this pan is holding up beautifully.

Outstanding pan for the price. I was initially concerned with how thin the base was, but this pan has great heat transfer and dispersement. The non-stick coating is also excellent, making it easy to use and even easier to clean.

Bought this to replace the same pan that I've had for more than 10 years. Love this brand. Came nicely packaged and is great for pancakes and French toast.
