I really like this toaster. I haven't had a toaster since, well...ever. My parents had an old one at their house, the kind before the crumb tray. I didn't get one at all when I got married. No toaster and I was perfectly fine making toast in the oven. My mom got a new toaster and though I liked the crumb tray feature, I never bought one.Suddenly, I felt a desperate need for a toaster. Recent major back surgery has rendered me almost useless in the kitchen. I shopped around and liked the look of this one, as well as the features. Here are the pros and cons I've noticed after a few uses.Pros: It makes even toast, browned on both sides. I make mine on the four setting, though that might be overdone to some people's liking. (I bragged to my husband that I now make toast better than Bob Evans, which may be stretching it a bit, though it is good toast.) The stainless steel exterior looks nice and fits in well with my kitchen. Frozen waffles are a breeze and not the hockey pucks I used to make. My favorite feature is the countdown timer, which lights up like a spaceship and let's me know exactly how much time I have before my toast or waffles are done. It isn't described as a rapid toaster, but it is fast. I really, really like this toaster.Cons: As some reviewers have mentioned, the exterior of this toaster does get hot after use. I recommend investing in some small tongs to remove toast, etc., because I forgot, put my hand out to steady the toaster and learned the hard way. (It doesn't need to be steadied; I'm not sure why I did it.) Another thing is the lever isn't made of stainless steel, so I don't know if it will last over time. The price was a small issue, since it cost more than what I had intended to spend, but then again who can turn down spaceship capabilities rivaled only by the bread machine. As far as durability, I haven't had it long enough to say.I highly recommend this toaster. I think it is well worth the price and at the time I bought, was several dollars less on amazon.

I have never had a 4 slice toaster, but since having company over for breakfast, a two slice toaster became a hassle due to waiting for more toast. This toaster works BEAUTIFULLY and the toast looks amazing and is evenly toasted on both sides. The wide slots are a huge plus. Ever try to struggle to push a bagel up after toasting only for it to split or come out in pieces? Never again with the Cusimax! It pops the bagel up like butter! The LED timer is also something new for me. I would always stare at my old toaster (while it burned the bread) not knowing when it would be done. The countdown timer is awesome. You select the darkness after you push the lever down and the timer takes off from there.Buy this, you won't be sorry.

Love this toaster. Thought my boyfriend was crazy for spending this much on a toaster and asked him not to... but I'm really glad he did. I fell in love with it. It tells you how long it will take and counts down. Has all the features a toaster can even have and I know I'm not even using them all. Very even toast

Nice toaster. Attractive, and it actually toasts plus entertains with a cool readout. But DO NOT touch it when in use or you will likely get second degree burns. I can't believe this type of product passes safety standards.

This toaster arrived quickly and was exactly as described online. I have used it only once thus far (with a bagel) and it worked perfectly. (Hint: Place cut sides facing the outside since the inner heating elements are not engaged on the "Bagel" setting.) I purchased the 2-slice toaster with stainless steel sides and it is attractive. I am well pleased with the toaster overall.

After our 8 year old Cuisinart became unreliable, we purchased a toaster whose greatest feature was its wide and extra long bread slot. For specialty breads with larger, longer slices, the ability to fit the bread into the slot was appealing. However, the toaster, H-Beach, gave inconsistent results; dark on one side..light on the other. Also, there were "stripe" marks and, at times, variable toasting from top to bottom. THEN, the Cusimax came up as an option. It has lit indicators for bread types and a countdown timer, so one can see the toast progress. Both sides come out evenly and with no light stripes. The crumb tray catches debris well (the Cuisinart dropped crumbs even with the catch tray in place.) Th slots are extra wide but not as long as the H_B but it is adequate got larger slices. A good toaster seems a simple task but some are better than others. The Cusimax is a winner for us.

I really like having a display showing the cooking time remaining! It’s a very lightweight unit but it does a good job toasting!
