Needing a good laser for your target shooting that is spot on. Once this is sighted in it remains on spot. It was super easy to install with many options on where you want to mount it. I went for a side mount on mine. It was also just as easy to dial it in and has stayed true ever since. It is made of a high quality materials that will last a good amount of time being in the field or at the range.

There is a lot of misunderstanding propagated on the Internet with regard to the infrared radiation. Lets call it the infrared light simply because it has the identical electromagnetic nature as the light of any color visible to the naked eye. The only difference are in the 2 interrelated characteristics of this light, namely, the wavelength and the energy. With regard to its wavelength, the infrared light is located next to the red light (hence the name) but has longer wavelength and lower energy, falling outside of the wavelength range that our eyes are capable of seeing without special tools. All material bodies with temperatures in a broad range emit the infrared radiation. the higher the temperature of the object, the more intense the IR radiation. This is the basis of the so called night vision devices. Back to the item under review here. Because of its size it is intended for use on a rifle. Unlike its red and green laser sight cousins, the IR laser source is a less useful as a sighting device. Because of its lower energy the IR beam dissipates faster while going through the air, the resulting IR "dot" quickly becoming larger with distance. So, at, say, 100 yards you'll likely to "see'" in your night vision device (which by design has its own IR illumination source) a big 2 feet "spot" rather than a dot. I would rather call it a well focused infrared flashlight providing a better IR illuminating of a distant object in the dark. You still have to use some IR viewer (IR goggles, "binoculars", a night vision scope, all of which, again, have by design their own IR illumination sources) to be able to "see" the reflection image of the invisible to the naked eye object. I hope this, perhaps a little lengthy, review clarifies what is the IR light and its uses in the night vision devices. The item under review here provides an extra help in illuminating distant objects in the dark making the object's image clearer. It cannot be used in or of itself as a sighting device.

I got the red jawn and it performs as it should. At dusk I can see it clearly for roughly 6-800 meters without issue and that's all the distance I need out of it. During the day the distance is shorter but I can make it out fine up to about 100 meters.Overall it performs as well as I need it too, has good battery life and charges quickly.It's a good budget option for a rifle. Got this for my father-in-law to put on his tricked out pistol. This is a VERY nice high quality laser.Easy to mount...easy to adjust...looks sharp on rail mount....and the battery life is much longer then it even needs to be...He mounted it then used it on 3 different outings and still hasn't recharged it...And this thing is bright day or night ðŸ‘Good value!4.8 out of 5.

Super easy to install and operate, charging is pretty quick, and it really helps you become much more accurate in no time. Calibrating it was a breeze. After a few rounds and a few minutes, it was zeroed in! As for how long it will stay calibrated... that is to be determined. Very, very happy with this unit. Excellent value. Recommend!
