This product really helped me with the consistency of my hold and trigger actuation.It also was helpful in adjusting my sights.Both pistols I tried it in were off, and adjusting the sights to the laser dot got me tuned in pretty close.If there is any doubt about the alignment of the cartridge to your bore, just roll it 90 or 180 degrees and look for the same location.My cartridge was totally consistent no matter how I clocked it.Many of the negative reviews are probably due to the poor documentation that comes with the product.They pretty much say put the batteries in it and use it. Wake up Laserlyte! Say a few syllables.This may help:Laser stays on too long or won't work:Low batteries. Buy some, they are relatively inexpensive.The ones that ship with it may be ancient or new ones made in China.(I was happy to see that the product itself is Made in USA)Hard to take apart and put together:Not really. Get somebody to help you with better manual dexterity. It's small. It has fine threads.Batteries don't last: FalseOpen it up when you're not using it and pop the top battery out to save battery life.Laser stays on continuously:I have used this in my striker-fired Ruger SR9 and yes it stays on until you rack the slide.You need to do that anyway with that gun to get the trigger reset. Good practice for a FTF.The laser staying on is actually helpful because it teaches you to follow through with your grip or you'll see a streak instead of a dot.Also, holding your grip with consistent pressure while pulling the trigger (and after) yields consistent (non-streaky) hits.I have also used this with my Springfield EMP 1911 (hammer fired) and it blinks instead of staying on.Just the way the different firing pins act on the laser switch I guess.What I do is use it while I'm sitting aroud watching TV or whatever.Pick a small target somewhere in the room and hit it a few hundred times.It also works well on characters you don't like on TV, but being non-lethal, those darn characters just go on as if nobody shot them.So anyway I have fired this thing at least two thousand times and it still works fine and I am a better shot with better sighted in pistols.I have seen the results with live ammo.What's not to like?I'm going to buy another one for my .40 caliber Beretta now to work on my feel for that gun and its double action pulls.I would hope that if Laserlyte has had some real quality control issues that they would stand behind their fine product, but I haven't had any problems.Happy shooting everyone!

I bought my first laserlyte trainer because of the scarcity of ammunition several years back. It was probably the best investment I have made when it comes to improving speed and accuracy out of the holster. After using the laser bullet for five or ten minutes a day for a couple weeks, I went to the monthly departmental range training day and dramatically out shot all my co-workers. In one drill, the Range master got upset at me for putting a whole clip of rapid fire bullets in the head of the target because we were supposed to be shooting "Center of Mass." My shooting was improved so drastically, several co-workers asked what I had been doing and immediately ordered their own Laserlyte training bullets.Four years and thousands and thousands of shots later, the switch broke. Rather than purchasing a new switch for an old unit, I decided to buy a brand new laser bullet. After about 300 shots, the switch on the new unit quit working. I contacted Laserlyte by email and they sent me a brand new unit along with 12 spare batteries and a personal, hand signed letter of apology for the faulty unit. Their product is unmatched for improving marksmanship and their customer service is second to none. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. Coupled with live fire practice, this product will dramatically improve the time it takes to get on target and get off an accurate shot. With the price of ammunition as high as it is, the Laserlyte training bullet will save you money and take your shooting skill to levels you did not think were attainable.Update 7-10-16The switch on my training bullet recently went out. I contacted Laserlyte to see if it could be fixed. They told me that based on the estimated number of shots I had fired, it was about halfway through its expected life. They asked for my address and informed me that they were sending me a new switch at no charge. I can say without reservation that Laserlyte has the best customer service of any company I have dealt with. On top of that, they make a great product.

Das Produkt wird den trainierenden Sportschützen sicher zufriedenstellen, insbesondere deswegen, weil er sich die zeitaufwändige und termingebundene Fahrt zum Schießstand und das nervige Reinigen nach hohen Schusszahlen sparen kann. Garantiert verbessern sich die Schießergebnisse dadurch, dass man sofort (kurzzeitiges Aufleuchten eines roten Punktes auf der Zielfläche) seine Fehler bei Abzugsverhalten, Atemtechnik und Anschlag sieht. Lieferung erfolgte pünktlich, Verkäuferkontakt freundlich und schnell. Dafür die drei Sterne! Nun zum großen ABER: Der deutsche Zoll bemängelte das Gerät (Laserklasse IIIA) bei der Einfuhr aus Gründen der "Produktsicherheit". Seit drei Wochen liegt es nun beim Zoll und wird dort "geprüft". Dabei macht die Behörde- was Tempo und Sachkenntnis betrifft- keine gute Figur. Ich scheine der allererste im Bereich des entsprechenden Zollamtes zu sein, der solch ein Produkt in den Staaten gekauft hat. Und ich werde möglicherweise Lehrgeld bezahlen. Man deutete mir schon vorsorglich an, dass ich eventuell das Produkt auf eigene Kosten vernichten lassen muss. Also Vorsicht walten lassen bei der Einfuhr von Laserprodukten. Was in den USA normal ist, ist hier vielleicht verboten.Produktrezension IIInzwischen hat der Zoll nach vier Wochen (!)Prüfzeit das Produkt freigegeben. Es bestehen keine "waffenrechtlichen Bedenken"- so teilte man es in einem Schreiben des zuständigen Zollamtes mit. Seit gestern habe ich das Gerät also, es hat drei Jahre Garantie- das lange Warten hat sich gelohnt. Das Produkt entspricht voll den Anforderungen..

The laser trainer works very well and has helped me to reduce my score in three gun competition by allowing me to train more often with my handgun. Excellent product. Hoping to buy a 9mm one now.

Schneller und besser geht die Lieferung nicht ich bin sehr zufrieden danke für die schnelle Abwicklung die Trainings Patrone ist super.Würde ich immer wieder bestellen ist zwar etwas teuer aber sie ist jeden Euro wert.

When I got it I was very enthusiastic ... it all works very well. However!!! The end struck by the firing pin wears out after maybe 500 - 1000 shots,. That is ok except it's impossible to get the replacement part anywhere in Canada ... they sell for $ 10 in the States. Too bad ... if you could get the part I would highly recommend this.

Trainiere mit dem Laser im Keller, seitdem haben sich meine Schießergebnisse am Schießstand verbessert. Würde den Laser jederzeit wieder kaufen.
