all the bore fittings are rated by caliber. not too big a deal to figure out which one is which for rounds typically measured in mm. The instrument itself is very easy to use. all parts included. easy to read instructions. The biggest issue i discovered after testing on an un zeroed rifle and a previously zeroed one thats tested at 1 to 2 moa at 25 yards was that the bore sight isnt perfectly center. when you rotate the boresight inside the barrel it traces a circle on the wall meaning the laser isnt accurately reading each time. only a certain placement showed to be true when compared to a control. i dislike how the instructions make it clear and advise not to set the laser its already factory set. however they provide the tool to do so and i will tell you YOU NEED TO! before even sighting your firearm please rotate the boresight slowly and watch the laser on the wall and you'll see what i mean. unless its just mine. it moves left right up and down creating a circle when rotated meaning the laser is not center at all times. without knowing this you could mistakenly sight 4 different rifles with 4 different Points of aim and have completely different results in accuracy.

So this is a budget boresight tool. What I like:If you are looking to just get in the ballpark, this will work.It includes everything you need, including tools to center the laser, which they tell you not to do.There are a few things I don't like:Instructions are not useful. It took me a while to figure out how everything worked together. Once I did, it worked pretty well. The battery holder/switch setup is pretty janky.I found the almost exact tool elsewhere for $17. $30 seems high.Just in case you are wondering how this works (like I was) the plastic adapters slip over the end as shown in the instructions. What they don't tell you is that the end is threaded and that's what the little bag of screws is for. Once the adapter is screwed in, it works pretty well.I've tried this on my .300 BLK so far and I was able to get my red dot aligned to bore close enough.

I was excited to test this boresight on my M1 Garand but even though it works, it does it very poorly.First, the bore attachment for .30-06 is useless, this thing feels completely loose. Unsure on how other attachments will work. I will probably turn a new one on the lathe, but out of the box that is an issue. The other problem is the battery compartment. It does not have a button to turn it on or off, you simple rotate the barrel where the batteries sit. A small pin on the back of the barrel makes contact with the back wall where the negative terminal is located, and it pushes the barrel away from it to stop contact with the help from the spring in the opposite terminal. Once you rotate it again, positioning the pin at the top opening of the compartment, the spring pushes down the barrel and the terminal makes contact with it again and it turns on. That is, supposedly. It is so cheaply made, the batteries tend to stay in contact with the terminal and more often than not the laser will stay on at a very dim setting. It takes me a few rotations to find the sweet spot where it barely stays off, and also to find the strongest connection for a visible dot. I will probably try to shave down the tiny pin on the barrel that makes connection with the terminal in hopes of removing the unwanted connection when the barrel is rotated to the "off position". Regardless, I highly recommend you take off the batteries after each use. The spring that connects to the positive terminal is of poor quality and it tends to bend with each rotation. I don't expect it to last and when it snaps, it will be the end of this sight since it's not replaceable.Instructions are not very detailed, and storing it back in the box with the attachment on might not be possible if you are using a large one.It is usable, but I wouldn't pay more than $10 bucks for it.

Solid little laser bore sight. The caliber tips are a bit flemsy but worked. The unit is easy to operate and the batteries install easily. Read the simple instructions for battery install and switch operation. When I say simple instructions, I mean not much to them, but this is easy to figure out.Used it to help with my initial zero on an Eotech mounted to an AR in 300 blackout at 30 yards. Gets the rounds close and then a slight adjustment and it is on. If you properly use this you should save enough in ammo to eventually pay for it. I own a range and sight rifles regularly.Decent build on the laser sight, but cheaply made caliber guides. It works. This is a good laser bore sight and reasonable for the price.

Boresight is accurate enough to get you close to zero as you would expect. The multiple adapters give you a wide range of calibers you can use this with. My only real complaint is there were absolutely no instructions on how to actually use this thing. It’s not that complicated so I was able to figure it out but I could have used that 15 minutes to boresight my rifle rather than exploring the box and figuring out which part when where. I’m not sure how accurate the caliber range is for the barrel adapters but I found one that worked. Super easy to use once you figure it out.
