I was so excited to test this. Normally, I’m struggling to find the perfect fit and it takes forever to get a good tight fit so I can site in my scope or lasers. This allows me to simply put on the end of the barrel and get to work. This laser makes it possible to quickly and accurately to Get close enough to zero before firing your first shot. By far, this is my number one most accurate laser I’ve ever used and the brightness is perfect. The batteries seem to last a long time, but I can use the USB charger found anywhere to quickly. give it enough strength to site in one more gun. This is now a must have for every gun person out there who wants to save a ton of time and be accurate immediately. This laser has quickly Rosen to my number one choice where I no longer want to use other styles, but this one if I could give it more than five stars, I would

It's a little different from others you have to spend a lot of time getting it close but you will get on paper

I have used laser cartridges as sighting devices before, but I think this is one of the most clever devices I've seen, and one that can be used on almost any firearm for sighting in. The exception will be some pellet guns and similar, since many of them have aluminum or plastic sound suppressors / barrel extensions. But for anything with a steel barrel, this is a very easy to use and very effective sighting tool. Just magnetically stick it onto the muzzle of the barrel, turn on the laser, and adjust your sights to match. I tested it out on a couple of firearms that were already sighted in, and I found the laser dot was dead on with my sights at 25 feet or so. As a side note, this unit also doubles as a convenient laser pointer! The user manual is quite good and easy to read. Charging is easy, and I particularly appreciate the use of the common USB-C charge port. In testing, I rolled the unit along a shelf to see if I detected any wobble in the dot that would indicate a lack of concentricity, but the dot remained stable and appeared to be well-centered. Assuming your muzzle is perpendicular to the bore, you should get a very accurate initial sighting that should then allow you to quickly fine tune your sight adjustments.

I ordered this bore sighting laser tool strictly out of curiosity. When I attached it to the muzzle of my Charter Arms Bulldog revolver, the laser dot was a full one foot below my sighted point of aim at 15 yards. The Bulldog is sighted for 25 yards, so I might have expected an inch, or so off, but not a full 12 inches. In the interest of fairness, I tried the same testing with a Glock Model 22, Colt Government Model, Colt Combat Commander, and Ruger Mark IV Tactical handgun. These tests revealed that the laser does come closer to the sighted point of aim, than it did with the Bulldog, by 1-2 inches, except for the Ruger, which was exactly at the point of aim at my 15 yard "range". The "by eye" manner of aligning the laser tool with the muzzle of the firearm will make a big difference, and the closer the muzzle is to the end of the slide, on an automatic pistol, the harder it is to get an accurate alignment of the tool with the muzzle of the barrel. The last test was on a PSA Gen II, AR-10. The laser dot was about half the vertical stadia line low, not accounting for the rise of the scope above the top of the receiver. If, I were to deduct the rise of the scope (1.5") and take into account that it's sighted in at 200 yards, the dot would likely have been within the 1-2 inch error I experienced with the semi-automatic handguns. Overall, this laser tool is functional, but not nearly as accurate as a bore centered laser sighting tool. It will likely get you "on paper", but that's about it. There is too much margin of error due to the way it attaches to the barrel. I will say that the magnet in the tool does firmly attach the tool to the firearm, so there is no slippage there, and It uses four decreasing diameter circles, on it's mounting base, to facilitate aligning it to the muzzle. Considering all I have said about this laser sighting tool, I give it 3 stars.
